Unemployment under President Trump hits 49 year low!

The fitting analogy here is that Trump is the third string quarterback who was asked to relieve the starter late in the 4th quarter to protect and babysit a 31 point lead.

Didn't you folks claim Trump would crash the economy? LOL you fucking dipshits think you know what's going to happen, but you are always 100% wrong. LOL

Wonder why the op didn't link to the reporting---could it be that the real unemployment rate actually went up? Could it be that job growth was lower than expected? Could it be that 74K people left the labor force?

Could it be you're a fucking idiot?

I know it reached the lowest level, just as I know that the real unemployment rate went up, job growth was lower than expected, and 74K people left the labor force. I don't cherry-pick data.

As for the wall is coming nonsense, it is nonsense. Republicans aren't going to waste tens of billions on a wall they otherwise could give away as tax breaks.

I wish you knew you were a low IQ moron. Really I do.

Don't you know Obama did all this. Why, companies LIKE having the highest Business taxes in the world, and they like having massive regulations. Why, the companies that actually said they were giving bonuses and raises specifically because of Trump's tax cuts were lying. The ones who said they were coming back to the US specifically because of the Tax cuts were also lying. Why, opening up our energy to use for our people had no impact, lol. Yeah, it was Obama.

unemployment is only 1 measure of the boom -across all sectors

It's going down again, just a matter of time, and once again, the "cure" will be another utterly bipartisan redistribution of societal wealth to the Wall Street/donor"job creator" class.

Then my statement that real unemployment is up in the latest jobs report has been shown to be correct.

Yes, you are correct in that it increased .1 for one month. But, on a more optimistic note, it has significantly declined over the last few years.

So has the labor force participation rate over the last decade. Since over half the "new jobs" very well could have been the replacement of the 70K+ people leaving the labor force, this jobs report feels more like a slow down possibly heading into a recession. The economics concern me. The politics do not.

Yes, I don't care about the politics although it determines much of the economics. One reason for the decline in the labor force participation is the increasing number of baby boomers (and older) who are retiring. The number of those over 65 will grow by about 50 million by 2060. I don't see many signs of recession except the length of the bull market.

The fed raising interest rates once more this year and 3 times next year by a total of a full percent concerns me. They seem hell bent on not stopping rate increases until they force a recession.

I just got a 12% raise. I got this raise as one of many, who, like myself, kept our heads down and worked hard during the downturn. Another really cool thing is that I’ll bonus off of the increased amount, not my prior salary. Companies across America are doing this. This is because we are all benefitting from this economy.

Elect a democrat at your own financial peril.

There is always people leaving the labor force.
The fact is the unemployment rate is much better than it was with Obama.
