Not an appeal to pity at all.

Regardless of whether they were shooting at you or not, killing another person is not "glorious".

Nothing is, but there is plenty of room to move up rather than down. If this is the limit of a "golden age" then human imagination has been sorely underestimated.

Of course it is. All Democrats are always touting their compassion- as they decimate poor and minority families and rob the remainder.

If I were a democrat you might be closer to having a point. But I am not. It had nothing to do with pity and everything to do with ridiculing your talking about how glorious it will be.

Not a strawman at all. I did not argue about whether the killing was justified. I was saying that it was not glorious as you had claimed it would be. Very different things.

Killing your enemy so he can't kill you is glorious. Breaking a bully's nose is glorious. Ripping off the face of someone who insults your wife is glorious.

Glory and Honor can be found in the blood of your enemies, if the enemy is also honorable and glorious. geurilla warfare is killing for survival. there is no glory found there, only survival.

I act like a democrat? Because I diagree with you? Ok, I guess thats almost like evidence.

I make an effort to educate myself about things I do not understand. That is a difference between you and I. You only seek to find facts that back your views, I look at all the evidence and try to learn.



Killing your enemy so he can't kill you is justified, but not glorious. If you were basing your beliefs on anything besides John Wayne movies, you might be more believeable.

Not glorious, but I agree that breaking a bully's nose is fun.

I still disagree. If an enemy is honorable, then you have killed someone of honor. While there may be justification, it is not glorious.

you can disagree, that is certainly your right and opinion. The warriors on the ground follow the orders from their commanders, and while both may be honorable, they are both doing their duty. That is the honor and glory in war.
