Unemployment is down

Of course you decline to comment on the other points I raised. To do so would highlight the partisan slant you have to resort to in order to continue to make your claim.

The FACT remains that during Bush's last year in office, UE rose nearly THREE FULL POINTS...a greater increase in UE than Obama saw during his entire first term...one simple fact that keeps slapping you upside your pointy little head.

You didn't raise any points, you just spewed more rhetoric and spin. Even with the huge 3 point spike at the end of the Bush presidency, Obama still was never able to achieve numbers as good as Bush had INCLUDING the 3 point spike. If not for the 3 point spike, Obama's average UE rate is almost DOUBLE what Bush had. So Bush's 3 point spike actually makes Obama's rate look better in contrast. Your argument seems to be that Obama's UE numbers didn't rise as quickly as Bush's, but the problem is, that's always going to be the case, as more and more people become unemployed, there are less and less people who can become unemployed. Unfortunately for Obama, we don't pick presidents based on how much slower they can create unemployment than their predecessor.
