Pretty sad when you have to go back almost ten years to try and smear Obama with something he had nothing to do with. Take it up with the MA DOE.
Gateway Pundit's Jim Hoft has published blog posts this weekend targeting Department of Education official Kevin Jennings under the hair-on-fire headlines, "Breaking: Obama's Safe Schools Czar's Question to 14 Year Olds: 'Spit vs. Swallow?... Is it Rude?' (audio-video)" and "Fistgate: Barack Obama's Safe Schools Czar Promoted "Fisting" to 14 Year-Olds (audio-video)." Two problems: The audio isn't of Jennings, and these stories aren't even remotely new.
Back in 2000, Jennings' organization, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), held a conference at Tufts University. The conference featured numerous workshops for students and educators, including "How to decide whether to come out at work," and "Strategies and curriculum ideas for addressing gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender issues in a high school English curriculum." One of the workshops, titled "What They Didn't Tell You About Queer Sex and Sexuality in Health Class: Workshop for Youth Only, Ages 14-21," was run by two Massachusetts state Department of Education staffers and a state DoE consultant.
Basically, during the workshop, students asked a lot of very explicit questions about sex, and received explicit answers. As Hoft himself acknowledges in the body of his posts, it is the Department of Education staffers - not Jennings himself - who appear in the audio giving those answers.

Your implication is that this is/was taking place in schools today, rather than at one conference ten years ago.
If my kids or any kids have questions about sexual behaviours, I'd rather they got the answers from teachers or medical people, rather than gossip in the school cafeteria.
I'm sure you can get Kevin to come to yoru childs school and hand out "fisting kits" to your daughters.....

Maybe it's just me but the tingling I get is telling me to RUN!
Checking out one of the links (http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.co...om-kevin-jennings-and-the-glsen-reading-list/) the majority of the stories seem to impart either a happy or neutral feeling by the storyteller. I'm not sure how accurate that is considering what we've been told about sexual abuse.
Apple, your preoccupation with sex and all things related to it just gets tired and boring after a while.

I was questioning the accuracy of the stories vis-à-vis accepted statistics. The purpose of a discussion is to put forward "why" one agrees or disagrees rather than just shoot the messenger. Or in this case the man (Obama) who had absolutely nothing to do with either the stories or their teachings.
It appears it is you who has an underlying aversion to all things sexual. Most unfortunate.

So Obama has "utter disdain" for the American people because he appointed someone to be Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education (there is no such position as Safe Schools Czar) that didn't do some things at a conference that he didn't attend? And Jennings not saying all sorts of explicit stuff is on tape!?!

The conference, billed as a forum to encourage tolerance of homosexuality, was sponsored by Mr. Jennings' organization and was held at Tufts University in March 2000. Mr. Jennings was executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) from its founding in 1995 until August 2008. The conference sessions appear to have had less to do with promoting tolerance and more to do with teaching children how to engage in sex.
