Right. We keep China on the Council and they literally force Muslims and other religions into re-education camps and sometimes just kill them en masse. I seriously doubt Russia's war will cause them to just dismantle it or remove Russia...

The idea that 5 nations have veto power makes the security council nearly useless. Thankfully so really, who wants China and Russia having the power to truly do something against other nations through their seats on the security council?

Well, it's been a check on nations from 'annexing' other countries for the last 75 years. That might be a Record?

Rubbish. You simply ignore Tibet (China), 20% of Georgia (Russia), the Crimean peninsula (Russia), Goa and Daman and Diu (India), ... Absolutely nonsense. It is quite possibly the most useless body on the planet.

To be realistic, it does favor the 'Victor States' after WW2. It's NOT perfect, but it is a 'World Body'.
We all are pretty well 'interconnected'. Germany relying on Russian Gas is a good example.
I much favor a 'World Body' deciding 'The World Order', than some 'Strong Country' calling the Shots.

And (being Country-biased here) the US probably gets more out of it than others.

Putin isn't the one personally massacring people including women and children in the streets, raping then murdering women in front of their children and chopping off people's limbs.

Those are Russian soldiers who come straight out of Russian society.

I'm sure there are some good ones, but if it took wiping the country off the map to end the kind of aggressive bully foreign policy they have a long history of engaging in, then I say wipe em all out.

This really isn't about 'us'. It's about 'World Order'. If this was Khazakstan, rather than Ukraine, we probably wouldn't care. (?) I think this is more a 'European' view of how NOT to get into a World War again.
