So either US Intelligence has improved under Biden's leadership, or Biden just has better judgement than you or me.
Because Biden's assessment of an inminent Russian invasion was arguably the biggest American intelligence success of the 21st century, right down to the assessment of false flag operations, almost predicting the day they would happen.
Biden is being extremely wise in not taking the lead in any negotiation, and letting France and Germany lead out front. There is nothing Putin would love more than to paint this as a USA vs. Russia proxy conflict. It would have the potential to split us off from our allies.
Biden was smart not to take that bait. The last thing we need is for NATO European allies to look like our Vassal states
