Ukraine has ‘successfully’ used UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles against Russia, Bri

If they did the Russians will almost immediately destroy them.

There is not a Mig you could put in the sky that can compete with the F-15.

Sure there are Migs that go faster, and some with larger weapons payloads, even some with stealth, but none as versatile as the F-15 in terms of maneuverability or evasion of rockets or other jets.

Why do you think the F-15 is the best and most desired fighter jet of preference in the world?

Easy answer, because Russia has no answer to the F-15.

The SU-57 will kill an F-15 before it even knows it’s there

You need to do some research before you post

I've done my homework on the F-15's and SU-57's!

SU-57's uses 3D Thrust Vectoring which gives them an advantage on flat spins, and with their stealth advantage, F-15 pilots can lose them on their radar screens when they are not in the line of sight. So it would be an unfair match-up, a tough fight, but even still, F-15 pilots can still hit them in Simulation Dogfights. Now if it were 2 F-15's, one high, one low, against a single SU-57, the SU-57 wouldn't be able to hide from or out maneuver both.

One of these days, we may get to see how they would match up in the real world.

However, that's why we have our very own 5th generation F-22's and F-35's.

Russia only has 74 of these SU-57's and I doubt they would risk losing them in the Ukraine war. But then we are talking about Pootie Pie, and he is obviously crazy and now desperate..

Well you get an F

The SU-57 far outclasses it in every single area

Russia has 74 of them and they haven’t used them yet in the war

If an F-15 were to show up it would be dead on arrival

There is no way Ukraine will get air superiority without 5th generation fighters to match Russia

I suggest you guys watch some demonstrations of the SU-57 stopping mid flight and reversing direction in under 10 seconds

No Other plane in the world can do that

While the F-22 might put up a good fight there is no other plane that can match it

The F-15 is a 50 year old design, it came out in 1974

And the F-35 is a disaster, but we are locked in.

I am sure the pilots of the SU-57s are just waiting for that

Great target practice for them

Are you being serious? This is from Quora.

There’s so few Su-57s built that they are effectively a non-entity. Any fighter you have is going to be better than the fighter you don’t have.

There are also strong indications that the jet is having serious teething problems. The first production aircraft crashed shortly after rolling off the assembly line, and to date none has been shown to have internal weapons carriage of air-to-air missiles. Note that this aircraft has been publicly advertised for foreign sales, so if it were possible they definitely would have demonstrated this capability by now.

The F-35 and SU-57 are advanced fighter jets designed for air superiority and multi-role missions, with advanced avionics, sensor systems, and weapons capabilities. The F-35 emphasizes low observability and versatility, while the SU-57 emphasizes agility and electro-optical targeting.

The US DOD thinks the F-35 is still superior and more versatile to Russia's SU-57's.

And if Russia don't stop their reckless flyby's we may have to prove it the them!

Prepare for Hell.....and understand that we well earned it with our poor performance.

I’m assuming that’s a ‘yes’.
I’m not concerned. I have a cabin between Willow and Talkeetna , Alaska. I will do just fine with subsistence living. :)

The F-35 is superior when utilized in a command structure with other support while the SU-57 is designed to operate by itself.

In a one on one fight the F-35 loses every time but the F-35 was designed to be part of a unit, it is a weapon platform basically, not an actual dog fighting aircraft.

Russia is holding back Su-57s from being used in Ukraine because it is avoiding the reputational damage, reduced export prospects, and the compromise of sensitive technology which would come from any loss" of the craft. They only have around 70 serviceable aircraft anyway, so they are not going to send any outside Russia.

To think I used to think that you understand this world.....

I do, it's you who does not. Sukhoi are hoping for big future export sales, the last thing they want is for the SU-57 design flaws to be exposed and its technology to be analysed by the West when one is shot down.
