My point is, and was, nuclear waste is manageable. It is not some endless, uncontrolled, nightmare. It can be stored safely too. That means the argument usually made What do you do with the waste? is one made by clueless parrots scared into NIMBYism on the basis of ignorance.

Nuclear power is the best solution to reducing carbon bar none. Solar absolutely sucks totally. Wind is a little better but still poor. So, unless you want electricity to become completely unreliable and unaffordable, you should be wanting to move to nuclear for most of our electrical power needs.

I didn't even bother with the promo with the cask and train, because that can't simulate what happens when a god damned MOUNTAIN comes crashing in due to a earthquake. No one gives a damn about your personal worthless assessment and corporate parroting, because the experts in the field who are NOT on the nuke industry payroll sure as hell were worried enough to convince Nevada and two Presidents NOT to go ahead with site construction.

Well, the the Chernobyl dome is complete ... but not bomb proof. Let's hope nothing happens to the 15 nuke power plants (powered down or not), and this stupid war gets settled soon.
