Ugly New Turn in Republican War on Voters!

Yeah, it was a joke the way Bush stole the first election, with the help of his brother, the Governor.

Wrong again; but at least you are consistently stupid. Gore and the dimwitted Democratic party acting like spoiled bratty children instead of adults tried to steal an election by divining votes from hanging chads.

It was a despicable attempt that tore the nation apart which is typical of Democratic hate mongering and mud slinging.

the governor did nothing and the Fla. SC ruled in favor of Gore, idiot. Thats why the SCOTUS had to step in and put a stop to the nonsense.

they are also limiting hours and days of voting.

the right wants fewer and fewer people to vote.

Its the only way they can keep winning elections

thwart democracy,

All the dems have to do to get a "permanent majority" like the Rs sought through cheating is to get more people to vote.

expand democracy

One is evil and the other is not

1) Why do you want to keep poor people from getting ID's? Why not help them get the ID's?

2) You do realize there is a reason we call it election DAY? You also realize we have absentee ballots for those that cannot make it on election day?

Gore tried that little trick and got stepped on like the insect he is, by the SC....lmao....

Gore and his chad inspectors and mind readers, trying to glean the "intent" of the voters....and damn, if he almost didn't get away with it.....

what a fuckin' joke that was

Your sarcasm is misplaced. It's the people who created that stupid ballot that deserve the scorn.

Our s.o.b. governor just made it a little harder for poor people to get IDs. Check out this increase:

On April 1, the fee for an identification card and for duplicate driver's licenses and ID cards will rise from the current $13.50 to $27.50. The fee for a certificate of title will increase from the current $22.50 to $50. Title security interest document fees will rise from the current $5 to $23. The fee for driver and vehicle information, now $5, will increase to $8. Certified copies of records will cost $30, up from the current $10. Manufacturer-dealer notifications will go from the current $3 to $5.

On July 1, the one-time fee for vanity license plates will rise from the current $20 to $76, the first increase since the plates were introduced in the 1960s.

The fee for replacing a regular license plate will increase from the current $7.50 to $11. The cost of transferring a license plate will rise from the current $6 to $9. Inspection stickers will cost $5, up from $2. Special zoological and railroad license plates will rise from the current $35 to $54."

Pretty sure those were Democrat run districts were they not?

Huh? The punch card system was in effect for over 100 years.

"The idea of voting by punching holes on paper or cards originated in the 1890s[SUP][7][/SUP] and inventors continued to explore this in the years that followed.[SUP][8][/SUP] The first major success for punched-card voting came in 1965, with Joseph P. Harris' development of the Votomatic punched-card system.[SUP][9][/SUP][SUP][10][/SUP][SUP][11][/SUP] This was based on IBM's Port-A-Punch technology. Harris licenced the Votomatic to IBM[SUP][12][/SUP] William Rouverol built the prototype system.

The Votomatic system was very successful. By the 1996 Presidential election, some variation of the punched card system was used by 37.3% of registered voters in the United States.[SUP][13][/SUP]

Votomatic style systems and punched cards received considerable notoriety in 2000 when their uneven use in Florida was alleged to have affected the outcome of the U.S. presidential election.

WWI - Wilson
WWII -FDR
Korea - Truman
Vietnam -Kennedy/Johnson

Bush Sr... Iraq I
Bush Jr... Iraq II/Afghanistan

Hmmmmm.... seems like Dems get us into more wars than Reps.

Of course it seems that way if you leave out most of those started by the Reps.

....and they worked just fine until....a Democrat decided he would not accept the results of the election and tried to steal an election by "divining" votes from hanging chads.

You leftist dunces just can't help yourselves can you? YOU erupt with the stupidity about the blame going to the those who created the ballots, then when it is pointed out to you that they are Democrats, you jump to the next moronic talking point.

The only thing more amazing than your dishonest buffoonery is your shock when people point at you and laugh saying; "look, an idiot."
