UFO's.....old hat, new interests.

Pillaging the globe for natural resources is far from intelligent.

According to your Lizard Lords? What is their solution? Dilithium crystals and replicators?

Hope he did not fire on the UFO?

The night an Air Force jet mysteriously disappeared over Lake Superior—November 23, 1953—was a stormy one.

Near the U.S.-Canadian border, U.S. Air Defense Command noticed a blip on the radar where it shouldn’t have been: an unidentified object in restricted air space over Lake Superior, not far from Soo Locks, the Great Lakes’ most vital commercial gateway. An F-89C Scorpion jet, from Truax Air Force Base in Madison, Wisconsin, took off from nearby Kinross AFB to investigate, with two crew members on board. First Lieutenant Felix Moncla—who had clocked 811 flying hours, including 121 in a similar aircraft—took the pilot’s seat, while Second Lieutenant Robert Wilson was observing radar.

The men would not return from their intercept mission.

What followed, according to Donald Keyhoe, the former Marine Corps naval aviator and UFO researcher who wrote about the incident in his 1955 book The Flying Saucer Conspiracy—was “one of the strangest cases on record.”

Lots of pilots crash and disappear. Ever hear of Amelia Earhart? Malaysian Airlines MH370? Glenn Miller?

Unknown. Zero evidence.

One theory says, due to our relative late arrival, all of those space aliens existed and died out leaving us alone. Maybe we'll find a Stargate. :)

I saw something pretty cool looking once when I was a kid,...maybe 17. But it was pretty explainable,....figured it out almost right away. I was outside working,....clear blue day, almost no clouds. I thought I saw a tiny glint of something out of the corner of my eye like something shiny, or maybe sun shining on it. When I looked up you could tell this this was extremely high,...to the point if it was much higher I wouldnt have seen it. But I could also tell the thing was quite long,....if it looked that long that far away. This thing was slowly moving across the sky in almost a corkscrewing motion,...you could tell. Looked neat as hell. Weather balloon is what I would put my money on. They tend to stretch wayyyyyyyyy out at times just like I saw,....and have that cork screwing motion to them. Even though it was easy to figure out what it was,.... it STILL looked pretty neat though.

I don’t know who was controlling the craft I saw

I thought for sure it was that the military had some advanced tech that years later I could say “hey I saw one of those way back in the early 1980s”

Never happened

I did see one of those stealth bombers right before they admitted its existence back when I lived in Vegas

It was blatant they wanted it seen

We laughed when we saw it in the sky

I totally believe you saw something weird your mind could not interpret.

Whether what you saw actually was an interstellar spacecraft piloted by extraterrestrial alien beings is another matter.

The scientific method seems to be a pretty good guide to me. The null hypothesis is that interstellar alien spaceships are not being piloted through earth's atmosphere routinely. The burden of proof is on UFOlogists to provide sufficient and convincing evidence to reject the null hypothesis. The vast majority of reputable scientists cannot accept grainy videos, blurry photos, and witness accounts of weird lights in the night sky as substantial scientific evidence.

And I am the first one to admit I wish we had credible evidence of extraterrestrial life.

The difference is UFOs are being covered on news stations and 60 Minutes. They are not treating it like most people here are. That is important and says something that is yet unknown. Why are they treating it this way after making it a joke for 50 years? My curiosity has been piqued.

Science test:
Is a dolphin a mammal or a fish?

You better think this one through.
Mammal.

You're obviously very familiar with the maxim "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance then baffle them with bullshit.".

Good luck with your space aliens conspiracy theory and other bullshit.

Its a diversion.

You fail as a marine mammalogist. The name dolphin originated from Greek meaning fish with a womb. Dolphins also have lungs and a layer of blubber but unlike seals and polar bears, dolphins are cetacea, meaning they are fully aquatic. Dolphins have dorsal, pectoral, and tail fins that allows them to swim as gracefully as any fish.

The pakicetus was already in the ocean about 50 million years ago and took a very long time to evolve into a fish with a womb. Does this look terrestrial?

The "documented facts" are some Navy pilots saw unidentified flying objects/lights.

As far as the public knows, the lights/objects are still unidentified. You are assuming they're space aliens. Since there is no evidence of extraterrestrial life, I suspect they are manmade objects.

My disagreement has made you so angry that you've resorted to calling me names and lying about me:

Yeah, let's just throw out all science, cognitive reasoning and critical thinking and go with that.

Disagreed, but obviously you have thrown out science, cognitive reasoning and critical thinking to go with your space alien fantasy.

1. Air force fighter pilots who are trained to observe and evaluate ... and who also corroborate with their on-board radar. Similar situations all over the globe by various military over decades. Strange how you deniers and "skeptics" ALWAYS leave out those details in your parroted mantras.

2. Large portions of the "public" no better than your dubious claim....home movies, videos, witnesses including cops, military, civilian & commercial pilots, various airports via radar...this has been going on since WWII. Mind you, if they were indeed man made, then why all the BS about nuke missiles. Surely people with tech that can out fly any missile or plane currently in use by various military would have come forth by now and let the world know who the real big boy on the block is. Why all the labored "moon shots" and probes to Mars & such taking months if not years for data gathering? These ships can do all that in a matter of days! So when one looks at ALL the evidence, you cannot escape the conclusion unless you are just being insipidly obtuse & stubborn.

3. All the objective reader has to do is click the little arrows next to the names to back track and follow the chronology of the posts to see how you live up to your self description as an "arrogant asshole". Thus, you are lying here. Pity that you can dish it out, but you can't take it.

4. You keep parroting this stanza, but to date you cannot logically or factually fault the information I and others have put forth from GOVERNMENT SOURCES. So quit stalling and get cracking. Or just blather the SOS as you usually do. Carry on.

1. Dude, there' no secret squirrel military pilot training to spot flying saucers. Most of the training is recognizing friendly and enemy aircraft or equipment.

2. Yes, secret military flying tests have been going on since WWII.

3. Some people think being "brass tacks" or blunt is deliberately being an asshole, but I disagree with them.

4. You just gave a perfect example of how a conspiracy theorist thinks: "I know what I know, prove me wrong". I can't prove flying saucers don't exist so you are free to believe they do.

2. And if they did, the first thing you'd say would be "how do they know?" But if that logic is to insinuate that there is a possibility that these UFO's are of terrestrial origin, then why haven't the originators made their presence to the world official? Surely with such aircraft they would be immune to the threat of nuclear missiles of any type. Remember, this has been going on for over 60 years....suffice to say improvements of such technology would be akin to Star Trek to all advanced industrial nations military capabilities. The label UFO lends to speculation and evaluation....the rational examination leaves your assertion unfeasible.

3. See #2

4. All hypotheses are and have been on the table....BUT...if governments are withholding information from the private sector and general public, how can they and others dismiss a conclusions based on the evidence?

Lots of people have seen lots of unexplained things.

Seeing something that the mind is not able to interpret is not proof of a Cretaceous species of dinosaur living in Loch Ness, anymore than it is proof of interstellar spacecraft piloted by aliens.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

I did not say the only possible explanation is experimental aircraft. In fact I do not think we can chalk up UFOs to one single explanation. I think these hypotheses are also on the table: optical distortion, the human mind misinterpreting optical sensory data, meteorites, as-yet-unknown natural phenomena, drones, experimental aircraft, hoaxes, misidentification, etc.

I do not 100 percent rule out anything, but the claim that space aliens are piloting extraterrestrial spacecraft around our planet on a consistent basis is an extraordinary claim which requires extraordinary proof.

1. A generalized moot point that in no way affects the validity of the information I and others have presented since the OP.

2. A lame attempt to rationalize denial of conclusive evidence born of mechanics (radar, photos) in conjunction with trained military observers.

3. And beyond military observation combined with military radar from some of the most secure and restricted areas on the planet, what would you consider "extraordinary proof"?

4. Given your previous statements that essentially disparage any idea of extra-terrestrial objects, your introduction of the Blackbird is a poor attempt at best. Here's the thing: what you "think" seems to couch in the automatic dismissal of an extra-terrestrial explanation regarding UFO's as seen by the military's of various countries for decades. With that in mind, you throw in the proverbial kitchen sink to enhance your beliefs. Anyone who has spent time looking into this phenomena has conclusively ruled out your laundry list. The exception is, "as-yet-unkown"....which is a hail mary attempt in and of itself.

5. You can't have it both ways. See #3 and #2.

Why is the only time Lefties give accolades to military competency is when it benefits their argument?

Sorry, but the military hasn't verified the existence of flying saucers.

1. All you do here is just try to blow smoke about the FACT that you made a declarative statement that purposely left out pertinent details. Now you just combine moot points with childish foot stamping.

2. Moot points seem to be on your hit parade today. Stating them doesn't shield your inability to disprove the conclusive logic of my entire response for the objective reading audience to see.

3. You BS about every and anything you post...especially your icon's self description. Sorry, buy no one is buying your attempted neologism but the man in your mirror.

4. Again, you lie about what I post. Explain to the reading audience how using official government radar, witnesses and transcripts and such becomes an unprovable "I know what I know"? So far, all you've displayed is that YOU know nothing other than your personal supposition, conjecture and opinion as reliable facts to draw conclusions. Sorry Dutch, but that dog of yours just won't fly. Seems "insipid stubbornness" is your motto. Carry on.
