U.S. Women’s Hockey Team Turns Down Trump Invite to State of the Union

The gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team has turned down President Donald Trump’s invitation to attend Tuesday night’s State of the Union address.
The report from NBC News comes a day after Trump jokingly lamented that he would have to invite the women along, too, since the men accepted.

Trump mocked the idea and laughed at HAVING to invite them. He did not want them there and only wanted the mens team, but knew that would be frowned upon so he begrudgingly invited the women too.
