Did the players have to take place in these pray vigils?!! Next it will be pray before class in public schools?!!
We need that separation between church and state! Suppose the coach was a Muslim or Buddhist?

At least one player claimed that he felt pressured to join the others in the middle of the field. Others claimed that they felt uneasy walking back to the locker room in front of the crowd, which was still present, rather than joining their team mates in the prayer thing. The school offered the coach a private place to pray and invite those who wanted to participate, but he said no. They offered to let him pray *on the field* after the crowd had gone. He wanted to make a grandstanding display, then whine about persecution. He was not fired, btw. He was put on PAID administration leave while the school board discussed. When his contract was up they merely declined to renew it. Rather than negotiate with them, he filed the lawsuit.
