Two senior officials with direct access to the information say new intelligence shows that Putin personally directed how hacked material from Democrats was leaked and otherwise used. The intelligence came from diplomatic sources and spies working for U.S. allies, the officials said.Putin's objectives were multifaceted, a high-level intelligence source told NBC News. What began as a "vendetta" against Hillary Clinton morphed into an effort to show corruption in American politics and to "split off key American allies by creating the image that [other countries] couldn't depend on the U.S. to be a credible global leader anymore," the official said.

Ultimately, the CIA has assessed, the Russian government wanted to elect Donald Trump. The FBI and other agencies don't fully endorse that view, but few officials would dispute that the Russian operation was intended to harm Clinton's candidacy by leaking embarrassing emails about Democrats.

The latest intelligence said to show Putin's involvement goes much further than the information the U.S. was relying on in October, when all 17 intelligence agencies signed onto a statement attributing the Democratic National Committee hack to Russia.

The statement said officials believed that "only Russia's senior-most officials could have authorized these "activities." That was an intelligence judgment based on an understanding of the Russian system of government, which Putin controls with absolute authority.Now the U.S has solid information tying Putin to the operation, the intelligence officials say. Their use of the term "high confidence" implies that the intelligence is nearly incontrovertible.

"He has had a vendetta against Hillary Clinton, that has been known for a long time because of what she said about his elections back in the parliamentary elections of 2011. He wants to discredit American democracy and make us weaker in terms of leading the liberal democratic order. And most certainly he likes President-elect Trump's views on Russia," McFaul added. Clinton cast doubt on the integrity of Russia's elections.

Exactly. A few months ago we listened to this: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump said during a news conference at one of his South Florida resorts. He added later, “They probably have them. I’d like to have them released.”

Cons gloated with every new leak as long as the leak pertained to Hillary. But once trump's name was brought into the mix suddenly everything flipped and our own intel is now only worthy of derision.
 
Don't forget Obama said "it is impossible to rig our elections" "Trump needs to stop whining and get some votes" well he got them and we see who is whining now.

How true, but yet the other side will spin it as if he never said that. They'll say it was a ventriloquist hiding in the bushes talking. That's how much in denial they are.

Don't forget that right up to election day trump was whining about a rigged election. And don't forget trump said he'd only accept the results of the election if he won.

Evidently you stopped listening when she jumped in with Stein on the recounts. She is a very poor loser as are the most of her supporters as they thought the false media had handed them an election.

She's covering all the bases. Nothing wrong with that. Poor loser? Not at all. She's set'in back and enjoying the circus your boy has created. Sorta like Disneyland. You never know from day to day what this clown is going to do to divide the country even more.

You missed the part where her campaign said "it had seen no “actionable evidence” of vote hacking that might taint the results or otherwise provide new grounds for challenging Donald J. Trump’s victory. But it suggested it was going along with the recount effort to assure supporters that it was doing everything possible to verify that hacking by Russia or other irregularities had not affected the results."

Anything will be an improvement over the piece of shit we have now that caused me to have walk away from my doctor, lose the best insurance coverage of my life, while chasing off industry after industry with ridiculous unsustainable legislation that made absolutely no sense. Our present President was even harder on the middle class than Carter and I thought that was impossible 8 years ago.
