UKRAINE: Norway's largest marine fuel company refused to sell diesel to a US Navy Virginia-Class attack submarine after Zelensky's disastrous Oval Office meeting. While the fuel was only for the USS Delaware's backup diesel engine, this is the first time a NATO member refused a fellow NATO member fuel for a military vessel. It may be time for the US to exit NATO.

The Europeans are desperate for America to stay in Europe/NATO....allowing a private company to illegally act against interest is idiotic....the Norwegian government should take action, and the EU should make it crystal clear that this sort of thing is not allowed.

So Trump is single handily undermining alliances that 12 presidents over 80 years cultivated.
 
Multiple people on my grapevine say that if America pulls out NATO is over....without NATO the EU quickly unravels and collapses....and that the leaders of Europe understand that.....which is why they do whatever America wants....up to and including promoting an idiotic massive war in Europe.
 
Yes they do. They are often used in non-emergency situations as well. For example, running the diesel engine allows a submarine to shut down its reactor while in a port where shore power is not available. Another example, a submarine will typically run its diesel generator instead of starting its reactor if it is merely shifting from one berth to another.
