U.S. Justice Dept sues Arizona over restrictive voting requirements

WASHINGTON, July 5 (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday sued the state of Arizona to block a state law that requires voters to provide proof of citizenship for some federal elections.

Due to take effect in January, the law violates the National Voter Registration Act by requiring proof of citizenship to vote in presidential elections or vote by mail in any federal election, the department said.

Let's hope the DOJ gets crushed. Persons illegally in the country and non-citizens should NEVER be voting in our elections. It's an absolute disgrace and the height of stupidity that the DOJ is suing to prevent a state from ensuring that illegals and non-citizens don't vote in their elections. That should be common sense. Yet, the Joke administration is suing to prevent that.

It's one more reason--and a damn good one--to vote every fucking Democrat out of office as a reminder We the People don't tolerate blatant imbecility from our politicians.
