U.S. GDP Growth Revised Up to 3%

Cypress, you're smart, you went to Davis. Your chart is quarter over quarter increase. Going from negative to a positive can give one a good increase but it doesn't add up to an annual number. Look at the numbers I stated. You're chart doesn't address that or show it any different

Liberals are so easily fooled because they can't even read charts :palm:

You are exactly right. You totally busted his fucking bullshit.

The chart clearly shows the "Percent change from preceding quarter"

NOT Cypress's stupid propaganda lie that it shows Obama Q's over 3%.

You Totally burned little Cypress

:clink:

And let's not forget, the FED had to keep interest rates near 0% during the Obama presidency in order to save our economy from the "you didn't build that" president.

Thanks President Obama!

He handed Trump - who hasn't even passed his first budget yet, or produced significant legislation - a decent economy. And he played a strategic role in saving the nation from a Second Great Republican Depression in 2009.

The massive retraction of regulations on business, has opened the spigot!
Obama was weighting small business down, while promoting government as the savior, so his fascist vision of only a few very wealthy owning it all, could bring on the Communist ideology that is the end goal.
Obama was all about more regulations, taxes and oppression.
Trump eliminated or, freed up all that tyrannical fascism, Obama created.

The chart is comparing apples to apples, moron.

3% and climbing

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN baby

I knew it would happen, trump knows how to run a business, and a countries economic growth is just a larger scale playground for him

Somebody pinch me, every day I wake up and wonder if this gift of Trump is just a dream, but thank God it's real

Do schools not teach us enough about economics or does partisan politics make us lose all we've learned?

We have not had 3% annual GDP growth in about a decade. Obama in eight years had maybe eight quarters of 3% growth. This is one quarter of 3% growth.

So what? He inherited a retraction economy courtesy of Bush's wall street RE securitization banker broker criminal bundling bungling buggering corrupt policies. He righted the ship and handed it off to a rightard clown who will tank it again.

I don't have the link but the article I read said the 3% growth would likely be sustained and go into the next quarter.

Two quarters make half a year. Granted, things can change but it's encouraging economic news.

Thank you for the wonderful economic insight. Exactly, who cares the Fed kept rates at zero and we still couldn't achieve even one year of three percent growth. We can keep rates at zero forever because we never have to pay the piper for cheap money right?

I'm sure you line gets you laid in your hippie drum circles. Congrats to you for that.

You don't think the real estate frenzy, bank an mortgage crisis were products of Bush's ownership economy and lack of strong regulation. Got it, Feldstein.

Did Clinton's push and change in the laws promoting more home ownership, especially among lower income, have no role? (since this is the game you want to play)
