Pompeo: Iran Must Withdraw Forces From Syria, End Support for Hamas and Hezbollah

WASHINGTON - Secretary of State Mike Pompeo demanded Iran withdraw its forces from Syria and end its support for Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad in his first major address as the top U.S. diplomat on Monday.

"Today, we ask the Iranian people - is this what you want your country to be known for? The United States believes you deserve better," Pompeo said.

That's really the extent of the imagination of the current administration- to try to force the entire world into sanctions against an innocent party by threatening to tar them as ' terrorist-lovers - if they refuse to comply.

Surely. The nuclear inspectorate has been ABSOLUTELY clear that Iran is NOT in breach of the commitments it gave regarding its nuclear program.

There is no way that Iran should be allowed to produce plutonium or to enrich uranium to weapons grade purity. The Arak reactor should be dismantled.

If their stated objective is to use nuclear reactors to produce electricity, then they don't need plutonium or enriched uranium. Of course we all know that they want to be able to switch to nuclear weapons as and when.
