U.S. and China Will Likely Go to War In the Next 30 Years - James Fanell

China is the enemy.

If the Chinese were invading California, the far left loons would be cheering for China.

“Useful idiots” as in the old USSR days.

They who accuse others of being useful idiots are in fact the useful idiots....lacking the self awareness to figure it out....Tucker called it.

meh we coexisted with the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
China is much more 'ambitious' though for sure and more of a chance for conflict

CCP is not the USSR....... WHile there is a few things common, there is also much that is not..

USSR was never an economic super power nor a huge trading partner, especially upon which we so heavily relied..

I totally agree conflict is not inevitable, but it is likely to occur->again!!!

The US cannot object to Chinese ' hegemony' and support Izraeli hegemony simultaneously. The world will not swallow such hypocrisy.

Also, far from the Chinese flexing their own muscle inside their own backyard, the cause of the next American wars- and America loves wars- will be the realization that its days of dominance are over. That will be the most dangerous period, America coming to terms with its own decline.

Anyway- the current virus pandemic is a total game-changer. The US has spent hundreds of trillions of dollars on weaponry and ' defense '- only to be out-flanked by a microscopic entity with no brain at all.
Of course, Trump's industrial/military masters will want him to trash universal bans on bacteriological warfare as a ' response ' . Trying to prise the Chinese out of their own territory seems a childish and trivial matter by comparison.

In many ways trump & his fans are helping to usher in the end of Pax Americana.... Isolation & shitting on allies only helps our adversaries....

Sadly some even believe that countries in south & SE Asia/ASEAN are going to continue relying on a unreliable allie/s being currently ran by an erratic child playing gawd and general....

That ship has sailed.

I know that not everyone agrees, someone has a book out right now claiming that China is about ready to collapse, but I dont see it.

Submission will be required.

Yep....... They've been saying it for years & yet their economy continues to expand @ a much higher rate than ours...

I think even Jim Chanos has given up on trying to short the CCP..........

I don’t think so, he thinks from the mindset of the Boomers, the millennials are far more progressive and hopefully diplomacy will prevail.

Both current reality ideologies fade away before war between them occurs.

:palm:

Go drink your chinese walmart apple juice & drool in the corner......

The usa lost the last two engagements but that wasn't a nuclear exchange~no one wins a nuclear exchange..

It is not inevitable, but likely...Neither side is going to stand down it seems.. Are you familiar w/Thucydides Trap: Definition, Theory & Historical Examples

Indeed so, I think China and the US mirrors Japan and the US in many respects. Both China now and Japan pre-WW2 were incredibly resource hungry and intent on expansion.

Yes- well they're clearly not going to do that. The world at large is looking to escape from the dollar and the tyrannical strings that go with it. Abuse of power ? Absolutely- and nobody will ever allow it to happen again.

For diplomacy read appeasement, the Chinese do not follow the same script as the West. Conflict is inevitable albeit you probably won't be around to see it.

good observation!
"One Belt One Road" = "Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere"

The millennials are dumb. I doubt they understand hegemony or China's "Made in 2025" goals

Yes, & the CCP/Russia & a few others are offering alternatives...

Even now things/debt etc isn't so bad, or rather as bad as it will get & as it steadily grows & American/western prowess continues to wain~slowly gobbled up by the Dragon..........

Perhaps smaller states are wary of any superpower ' leadership ' and reformation of the UN will create a far better model of universal democracy- or whatever will take its place.

Sadly I don't think it will..

The CCP is already working that angel, & fairly well since they are creating their world order of reliance on them..

The term debt diplomacy is often used in reference to their tactics but really that is only part of the package..

Along w/ those deals also comes influence....... That can be clearly seen by our own NBA kowtowing to the communist party along w/ many countries..

Being everyone's biggest trading partner comes w/ benefits & influence.. You don't want to piss off your biggest trading partner as they often remind everyone..:nodyes:
