Two weeks after ending lockdown, Texas sees surge in cases

that isn't a surge

that is one data point

what about Georgia? They have been open for three weeks. Why aren't you commenting on them?

A little selective aren't you Shaquanda?

If he's selective, then so are you. There is no place in the country that is fully reopened. In the places that have begun to reopen, we've seen one of two things.... either new cases have increased after being on the decline, or new cases have leveled off (which is the case in Georgia. That being said, it is still too early to establish definitively the impact of 're-opening'. And it is also way too early draw any conclusions on what reopening actually means for an increase in economic activity.

Both Saturday and Sunday saw the largest reported coronavirus cases in Texas to date.

Curve ain't bending.

Oh Georgia? You mean the state where Kemp's office faked data 3 times in three weeks?

“Gov. Brian Kemp’s office issued an apology after a Georgia Public Health Department chart wrongly reported a downward trend in #coronavirus cases. The error was at least the third in as many weeks”

Ouch. How embarrassing for you, your argument, and everything you believe.

You can't trust the numbers from Georgia because Brian Kemp's office deliberately fudged them 3 times in the last three weeks. We do not have a downward trend here.

In the latest bungling of tracking data for the novel coronavirus, a recently posted bar chart on the Georgia Department of Public Health’s website appeared to show good news: new confirmed cases in the counties with the most infections had dropped every single day for the past two weeks. In fact, there was no clear downward trend. The data is still preliminary, and cases have held steady or dropped slightly in the past two weeks. Experts agree that cases in those five counties were flat when Georgia began to reopen late last month.

amazing how sad leftists are about trying to get our economy back open

very telling

they are such pussies

What's sad is that you think the only way Trump can win reelection is based on if the economy magically comes back, and not based on any leadership or competence he has failed tp exhibit during this crisis.

I know why you, personally, want things to open up;

You are alone.

You've been alone for two months.

That loneliness is so unbearable that you are starved for IRL interaction.

So you want people to go out to serve you because no one is accommodating you right now.

You have no one in your life to care about, which is why you want to force interaction. Being served by someone is the only human interaction you have because...well...you're insufferable and I can't imagine anyone wanting to be around you or in your life.

Your best friends are the Conservatives who give you "thanks" on JPP; you have no one else.

Actually, the curve is rising, and has been for the last week. Two other states (GA and FL) had been seeing declines since early April, but have now leveled off. The more people that start going out in public, the more likely we are to see a spike. Of course if the Trump Cult would start wearing masks instead of being selfish, whiny idiots, that would help mitigate things.

You are mistaken Tamiqua. I have never made that claim. It is YOUR side who thinks that the economy is the key to Trump being re-elected which is why you are lying and doing everything you can to keep the economy locked down.

I believe that if Biden is your candidate that Trump will beat him no matter what. The American people will trust Trump with growing this economy more than they will trust Biden.

But, I know you will disagree, so is there really any point of you responding?

Why do you always have to lie about what others think? If you want to know, just ask me. Unlike you, I don't lie

You sure do gin up some stories for yourself don't you LaShonda?

So then how is Trump going to win in November, aside from cheating? He has nothing to run on. We'll be at 100,000 dead by the end of the month.

He has a lot to run on. His four years will be looked at in totality, not a virus he has no control over.

He grew the economy after Obama's dismal results, he can grow it again.

But, I am sure you will disagree. More tax hikes is what we need right puddin?

Seems like I'm right on the money, aren't I?

Being by yourself for two months has clued you in to why most people on JPP think you're trash.

Now that you finally understand why they think that, you choose to avoid confronting the fact that you're a douchebag because you're a coward incapable of rising to the moment to be a better person...like Trump.

You live vicariously through him, so everything that he gets attacked for, you take personally.

That's what people in cults are like.

No they won't.

All anyone will give a shit about is the death toll and the fact that he was too lazy to act responsibly when the country needed him to.

He dropped the ball; which means you dropped the ball. Which means you can't be trusted to pick up the ball and run with it. Because you'll just drop it again, like you did the last few months.

He grew the economy after Obama's dismal results, he can grow it again.

Trump has failed to top Obama best annual and quarterly GDP growth.

But he did top the worst GDP contraction. And he's lost the most jobs of any President. And he had the largest DJIA collapse of all time. And the DJIA is still below what it was the day the tax cut started.

Speaking of which, where's that 3% growth?
