Two reasons why I believe the US is doomed

1. Americans are more interested in Jersey Shore and the Cruise/Holmes divorce than the future of our country. The majority of Americans are neither liberal nor conservative; they are apathetic.

2. Americans are ignorant. While Islam is the greatest religious threat to humanity as a whole, Christianity poses the greatest threat to the education system of the US. They enjoy the fruits of the scientific method while categorizing its practitioners as "God haters" and the like.

Americans have come to realize that this Congress has absolutely no intention of getting anything done until after the election.

The people will decide whether they want to continue down this path, or get rid of those who claimed they wanted to create jobs, but seem to be more interested in passing bills that circumvent Roe v. Wade.

Might as well watch Jersey Shore.
