Two people, one reportedly a child, have been found dead in the section of the Rio Grande where Texas has installed oversized buoys to discourage migrants from crossing the border into the United States.

The Mexican foreign affairs secretary said late Wednesday that Texas officials confirmed that a body was found stuck on the buoys installed at Gov. Greg Abbott's order amid international controversy. The buoys have brought condemnation from President Joe Biden’s administration, which has sued to force Texas to remove them.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador expressed outrage after the discovery of the bodies. “This is inhumane and no person should be treated like this," he told reporters in his country Thursday.

wtf...who forced this idiot to get in the water and swim to the buoy?

if someone is killed climbing over the fence at Hover Dam its the fault of the Dam and not the IDIOT?

Nordberg if u try and climb over a 20 foot no trespassing fence and are killed who's fault is it?

The fence is up for a reason....do not climb over! Go to the gate and apply etc to get in

Mexico always says dumb shit like this as if they have a right to cross into the US.

Fuck them.

We should place land mines and automatic gun turrets along the whole southern border, we don't need a wall.

I guarantee you that after about a week there will be nobody trying to cross.

In radical Leftist land, like California, it's your fault. You put up the fence to keep people out. That was wrong of you.

The fence is up for a reason....do not climb over! Go to the gate and apply etc to get in

That's in rational non-Leftist land the rest of us live in...

People get killed climbing Mount Everest every year. Must we start blaming the mountain?

Not really anymore, it's more of a tourist attraction now.

That practically have stairs that bring you right up to the top.

There is a waiting line also with like hundreds ahead of you, you have to schedule your ascent so there is room.

From what I hear it's not difficult at all now, the whole climb is laid out and guided as long as you can breath at altitude, if not they will even provide you with oxygen.

It's more like a hiking trail in the snow now.

We need more floating barriers and razor wire.

When one tries to enter our country illegally, one assumes the responsibility for violating our immigration laws and our sovereignty.

The responsibility for child deaths lies with the adult who put them in the water.

Ya esta.

I completely agree.

Hell, I would even allow putting up warning signs for them saying death is imminent.

Indeed.

Everyone entering our country illegally, knows that they are entering illegally. The consequences fall on them, not the US who has a Constitutional duty to protect our borders and our sovereignty.

No bodies would ever be found if the Rio Grande was stocked with alligators or sharks with lasers.

Laser Sharks!
