Great point tonight on Washington Week.

If the House impeaches him again, and it looks very likely, then the Senate will have a choice to make.

a) They suddenly are free from the threat of tweet-shaming,

and

b) If he is convicted, he can never run for president again.

Meaning:

c) Republicans no longer have to fear him.

They might just go ahead and convict him this time!

And even if they don't, to be impeached twice will go down in history. Worst president of all time beyond a doubt. So bad he set records at being bad.

Fascism? The prick has been using it to stir people into rioting against the government. 5 people are dead and that capitol was trashed. There are limitations to free speech. The oid one that you cannot yell fire in a crowded theater is one. This was much worse. You cannot organize sedition and anti-American hate to action on a private platform.
 
As amazing as the internet is, there are also some petty dangerous aspects to it.

One is that we have lost a foundation of truth and factual information. I don't know what the remedy to that is - but it's probably a bigger threat to our freedom than anything else.

Twitter wanting to maintain minimal standards seems pretty mild, and I'm surprised it's getting a negative reaction. It's really just the tip of the iceberg.

They actually showed extraordinary patience & restraint.

How can anyone argue that at this point? Wednesday was the culmination of 4+ years of Trump stirring people up and sowing division. There isn't really debate on it: Twitter had a responsibility to ban him.

You should take a deep breath~ of air, not containing Jamaican cannabis & chill......... I do not, nor will I ever agree that inciting violence & insurrections is a form of free speech.......... No more than yelling fire in a crowded theater......

That isn't going to change..

In the end after you have fought the good fight, defended every action trump took or didn't take absolutely nothing will have changed as a result of your hard work.

Whatever happens w/ trump will be on him, not you. 😢
