Turning Point USA Launches Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show Against Bad Bunny

It will be interesting to watch the ratings. This Bunny guy is just one in a long list of odd choices for the halftime show ever since JayZ became the person in charge of the production.

This is really one of the most hilarious things I've seen in years.

Not everything is politics. The reaction to the Super Bowl booking one of the top artists in the industry is absolutely crazy.
Do you have any idea what the average cost of a Super Bowl ticket is?And how much people attending the game are going to be spending that day?

How is that relevant?

Bad Bunny is incredibly popular. Why don't you think attendees will want to see him?
Is he big-time popular with people over the age of 45? I doubt it. People over 45 have most of the wealth in this country. They decide things,....just the way of the world. My bet is people over 45 wont be all that happy with the NFLs choice and many will turn to the Halftime show put on by Turning point. I myself haven't watched the actual halftime show in years,.....and Im a Football fanatic.

I love football. But I haven't really enjoyed a halftime show in years.

And I don't care much about that. If there is one thing I know as a football fan (and I'm sure you know this also) - the NFL is about money. Whatever maximizes profit is what they'll do. I don't like Bad Bunny's music at all - but millions of people do.

If they booked a more old timey act, they'd lose the younger audience. And they're probably trying to expand their audience to more Latinos.

Though I'd say that it probably wouldn't hurt them to book a country artist one of these years. I don't think they've had one in many years, and that's a really popular genre.

Viewers over 45 generally don’t spend money on tickets and NFL paraphernalia, and who is popular for the over 45 age group that would draw attention

Few half time experiences

Years ago I was at an Orange Bowl that had a big time halftime show and it was a pain in the ass. They handed out place cards that each section was suppose show on cue, and every first half time out a kid on a megaphone came out screaming that everyone had to practice. Super annoying

Also been to Daytona 500 where when the entertainment was playing you could not see or hear ‘em, but if you saw it in TV it looked like a huge show, strictly a TV production

Which is why all entertainment is targeted at people over 45?

The Super Bowl is an entertainment event that is funded by advertisements. Advertisers like people who spend money, and more importantly spend money on new decisions. Wealth is not about spending money, but rather holding it.

If you are over 45, you have already decided whether you prefer Coke or Pepsi, and likely are drinking less of both. Coke and Pepsi are going to target a much younger demographic for their advertisements.

You are over 45, and have not watched the actual halftime show in years... So they have lost nothing with you.
