Mack Beggs, the transgender wrestler from Euless Trinity High School, is halfway home to capturing the Class 6A state girls wrestling championship in the 110-pound weight class.
A lawsuit was filed to try and keep Beggs from competing at the state tournament, but according to Coppell attorney Jim Baudhuin, also a parent of a female wrestler, the suit is being revised to keep Beggs from competing as a girl next season.
