Earlier on Saturday, Turkish police used tear gas on crowds protesting outside the offices of the Zaman newspaper, which was raided by police on Friday.

The popular newspaper, which often criticized the government, was targeted after a court ruled that it should be seized and its management replaced as part of an investigation into the US-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen. Turkey accuses him of conspiring to overthrow the government.

. it's amazing enough gender inequality and domestic violence is even able to be demonstrated against in Turkey.
Still a very conservative country; albeit with European influence.

Erdogan is openly hostile to the PKK -no surprise there.

That's why RT is more likely to publish the truth about thr Turkish government- and why it's harder to find in the NATO media.

perhaps, but it does have it's ox to gore. But i'm too lazy to look for other sources, so I take RT for now.
