Tune In Tonight

Hmmmmm...I wonder if this doesn't have something to do with con press claiming they had the 'real" story behind this divorce and Newt did nothing wrong, and then all the little con ho's running around the internet claiming "even his children said"...never mentioning the children were from a different marriage. He's had so many! Hard to keep track? Anyway, looks like the cons pissed someone off. Oh well! I'd call this appointment tv!

ABC to Air Bombshell Interview with Gingrich Ex-Wife Tomorrow Night

World class scumbag Newt Gingrich is somehow still in the presidential race despite scandal after scandal. Recent polls even show him gaining on Romney. He's essentially the teflon don of GOP candidates. Nothing sticks to this guy.

It's looking like an ABC interview with his second wife, Marianne Gingrich, might actually do some damage, however. She spoke to ABC reporter Brian Ross for 2 hours. The interview is apparently so devastating that ABC debated the ethics of airing it prior to the South Carolina primary, according to the Drudge Report. Some network executives wanted to see it aired on Monday, only after the votes had already been counted.

Seems a tad bit more unethical for a network to try to protect a candidate in such a blatant manner, actually.

The Gingrich camp has pulled out all the stops in deflecting and delaying the controversy from hitting. Gingrich's two daughters from his first marriage sent a letter to ABC News pleading with them not to air it.

From the best investigators money can buy to paying people for any dredged up, damaging, private information nothing, absolutely nothing, can destroy a man like a few words from an Ex. :D

Well the same can be said of ex-husbands and bf's Apple.

Also, he left her when she was sick, which brings to mind a fascinating study I recently read. It seems that when a spouse is diagnosed with something like a long-term, progressive disease (think MS, but also some cancers, etc), men are statisically much more likely to leave their spouses.

Women stay and become caretaker.

So maybe a woman who bitches about a man leaving her under these cirmcumstances has something to complain about. Personally, I would never do it. It is indecent. Period.

That said, I dislike Newt because of his smarmy personality and make no claims to know any true facts. It's bound to be at least somewhat he said/she said.

But three marriages is kinda a clue. The problem is Newt. I think we all know it.

And I'll enjoy the show!

I agree with you. I was just trying to rattle your cage.

Bad Apple.

I don't think the kind of damaging information his ex-wife will dish is of the "he was unfaithful" variety. We already know that part. The damaging information is probably that he's fucking nuts.

Edit: I should also note that, while many people already recognize that he's fucking nuts, it will be interesting to hear a first hand account of just how fucking nuts he is from a person that was married to him and dealt with his shit on a daily basis.

Reagan, the only other divorced president ever, had his ex wife supporting him. I doubt it can be done with the ex attacking you, but we shall see.

Who cares? Gingrich has little to no shot at winning the nomination. If this was a Dem, we wouldn't be hearing about it in the mainstream media for another 4-6 years.

I don't think it knocks Newt off, thank god. Perry is out, Newt is sinking like the wicked witch of the West and it's fucking Hillarious and must be prolonged.

I have an idea. Let's just crown Romney now and forget about the whole actual voting thing and coverage of the various candidates. I mean, the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary are over, right?

I have an idea, why don't you take your straw man outside and play with him?

As I stated, Gingrich has little to no shot of winning the nomination. So who cares if this comes out the day before SC or the day after SC?

I have an idea, why don't you write what you mean? "Who cares?" and "Who cares if this comes out the day before SC or the day after SC?" are different.

Why don't you try READING the comment I was responding to? Or perhaps asking for clarification if you are too ignorant to comprehend what I am talking about? The article was talking about whether or not to announce the day before or day after.

But you can't do that can you? Instead you build your little straw man and go off on another of your hysterical whining sessions. You douche bag.

Shorter SF: DH is correct that I should have been more CLEAR, but I am never wrong so . . .

I think the real test of ABC's integrity will be how much of what she says about Newt ends up on the editing floor because it doesn't make him look bad enough........

I think it's much ado about nothing. It shows a grave misunderstanding about southern and rural conservatism. It doesn't matter one wit that Newt isn't the poster child for family values. He's one of them. He's a good ole boy and that's what count.

Send his wife divorce papers while recieving Chemo, no problem. Serial aldutere, ok. What's really important is he's one of them....and he believes in Jesus...and not some brown skinned mediteranean Jesus either. He believes in a white Jesus like all decent people do.

The ABC report won't have an ounce of impact in South Carolina. In conservatism what you do, means nothing. As long as your one of the good ole boys, it's all good. :)
