Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii) signaled she would be open to a role as former President Donald Trump’s vice president during a Friday interview on Fox News.

“I would be open to that,” Gabbard told host Jesse Watters, when asked if she would consider a vice presidential slot.

“My mission is to serve our country,” Gabbard continued. “I wanna be in a position to solve problems, Jesse, and we got a lot of ‘em to solve.”

Former President Trump recently confirmed a list of names on his shortlist for vice president, including Gabbard, Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R).

The former president confirmed the names on his shortlist, but did not reveal when his running mate would be announced. Trump said “all of those people are good. They’re all solid.”
Gabbard is also slated to be at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago resort next week, where she will headline a fundraiser for the 917 Society during a night “celebrating the Constitution,” according to an invitation shared exclusively with The Hill.

Gabbard, also a former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, announced she was leaving her former party in late 2022, stating that it was “under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness.”

“Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by and for the powerful elite. I am calling on my fellow, common-sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party,” Gabbard said in a video statement. “If you can no longer stomach the direction that the so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, then I invite you to join me.”

Tulsi is amongst the worst of the worst empty political shills which is not unique in politics, these days, but she is near the top of the pile.

She would gladly be Trump's VP if he was close to power and switch the next day to Bernie's if he was closer to power and would take her.

She holds no definable position other than her desire for power.

That said, of all the names floated she would be the best choice for Trump, thus far, by far. She would appear to the 'moderate in the room' to temper Trumps worst instinct and could help with women and swing voters potentially all before Trump would demand she do something illegal on his behalf and she either do it and end up dealing with indictments and maybe jailed or she refuses, as Pence did, and end up fired and ruined in politics by Trump.

It is amazing that any VP candidate for Trump does not see this INEVITABLE as there is no 3rd option.
