Well, let me tell you why!

I used to manage an AUDIO/VIDEO PRESENTATION SERVICES COMPANY that served a major 4-star Hotel here in Dallas.

My company served the Hotel by setting up the Hotels Ballrooms, Breakout Rooms, and Bar rooms events with A/V equipment and labor while managing the audio and video of the events.

One such event was the Benny Hinn evangelical Ballroom event. While I was setting up the stage with microphones, PA system, speakers ,and 25 foot video screens, BENNY HINN and his actors were practicing their fainting on stage 0f their BLIND PEOPLE CAN SUDDENLY SEE, AND THEIR CRIPPLES THAT COULD SUDDENLY Walk, after they were blessed personally by Benny Hinn and his prayers to God.

My technicians and me had some real serious laughs at the fake and downright scam being pulled off by the Benny Hinn Ministries as we watched this unfold before our eyes and ears. Most of the people attending the event were just some very poor people who some were homeless and others drove there from everywhere in the state of Texas. You should have heard the way Benny Hinn was trying to make them all guilty as they were being passed the plate to contribute.

But, to make matters worse, after the event as we were tearing down the A/V equipment, we overheard Benny Hinn and his business partners discussing the event and the money they got from the offerings. They actually were laughing out loud about most of the audience and guests being homeless and didn't put much in the plates. And then we overheard them say that they, "At least", made enough money to have lunch at the most expensive restaurant in Dallas- THE MANSION- just after passing the plate around to some of the poorest people I have ever seen in one gathering before.

I have never seen such a scam in all of my life- HIRED ACTORS Fainting on stage- cripples suddenly walking, and suddenly the Blind being able to see again- ALL BECAUSE BENNY HINN PLACED HIS HAND ON THEIR HEADS AND PRAYED FOR THEM. EVERY BIT OF IT A SCAM DUDE!

That is where I lost it for SO-CALLED EVANGELICALS!

The Benny Hinn Ministries is one of the largest and best known evangelicals in the country!

What is it with the confused Biden and pipelines?

Disaster 1. One day one of his presidency, he signed an executive order closing down the Keystone pipeline, throwing thousands of Americans out of work.

Thereby, America went from being energy independent to the president begging OPEC to increase production, which they refused. Result? What's the cost of filling up your vehicles, America?

Disaster 2. No sooner had he closed down Keystone than he met Putin, fell in love, and lifted the Trump sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream pipeline across the Baltic Sea to Europe, making Russian considerably wealthier.

Disaster 3. If Biden was concerned that Europe should be well-stocked with natural gas and wants to pressure Russia, why is he now against the supply of Israeli natural gas to Europe via the EastMed Pipeline, with its triple-treaty with Israel, Greece, and Cyprus?

There is nothing in that POS bill that's good for anyone.

But to tie this back to Tulsi Gabbard, you should not be so eager to discard her. I'm pretty sure she is as enthusiastic about all this "green" crap as most rich lefties, but she is more pragmatic and has her priorities in order. I think this comes from her military experience where you fight with what you have on hand and try to keep the supply routes open so you can get more stuff. In short, I think she could work with the GOP while the donkeys are running around with their hair on fire.

What the pro-pipeline folks are missing is that, unless the oil companies are nationalized, there’s no way to force them to sell oil products in the US. It’s a global market subject to supply and demand. If Exxon can sell oil in the US for $1 or in Europe for $10, it would violate their fiduciary responsibilities to stock shareholders to not maximize their profits.

IMO, it’s better to pick battles that can be won. Dreaming is nice, but reality prevails.

Obviously the days of fossil-fuels are waning, but we’re a long ways from seeing the end of a global petroleum-based economy.

Better to focus on renewable energy sources and let people choose. If a home-owner has a choice between paying big bucks for their home oil-heater and 15 MPG SUV or being able to go “off the grid” with home-generated renewable energy for about the same cost, most people will freely choose the latter.
