But the Times suggested the timing was crucial, as members of Fox’s board found out about the message as part of documents uncovered in the defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems, shortly before a trial was to begin last month.

The newspaper said the discovery “contributed to a chain of events” that led to Carlson being fired April 24, less than a week after Fox agreed to pay Dominion nearly $800 million to settle the case....

People make mistakes but that DOES NOT mean the underlying facts do not exist and are not true.

1+1 = 2 and just because some kid in pre school might get it wrong sometimes and say 4 does not mean that in FACT does not =2.,

Do you understand now how stupid your argument is when you say 'because some humans can get things wrongs that mean the underlying fact does not exist'.

Human fallibility does not deny facts.

It cannot be false that you either did or not smash the window. You either DID or DID NOT smash the window and that is fact.

That a human might get it wrong does not change the fact of the matter.

You keep repeating 'a child might get it wrong and say 1+1=4 ...therefore it is not fact that 1+1=2', because you are incapable of understanding that the child getting it wrong, or you getting it wrong does not invalidate the fact.

1+1=2 = fact.
A window being smashed or not = fact.
