It's actually fairly easy. They also buy their guns. They also steal guns.

Right, they buy them legally or via straw purchase, or they steal one that was bought legally.

The point is that every one of those guns was first purchased legally, then found its way to a criminal...so the source and supplier of guns to criminals are gun owners themselves.
