the bottom line of the 2nd Amendment issue is that it IS an individual right, not a right of the government. government has no rights.

the 'militia' is not a government run unit. I've posted many times the comments of the founders that were voted upon for ratification proving that the militia are the people themselves.

And as far as your membership in the 3%ers, that's not an opinion...that's an actual fact.

That membership of yours in the 3%ers would disqualify you from Basic Training today, and would probably end up with a visit from the FBI.

What the document says is that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed within the context of a militia, of which you aren't a member and have never been a member.

You want us to take certain parts of the document literally while you take certain parts figuratively, but that's not how the world works.

Someone who joined that group shouldn't be allowed anywhere NEAR firearms, simply because of the association.
