Truth slips out on Fox News.....

It seems to be the regular mantra of the left nowadays. It doesn't matter where you go or who you are if you say anything that makes any sort of sense against the campaign of "The One" you will be told you are "drinking koolaid". Last election cycle it was "racist", this one is "drinking koolaid"...

Now, saying all that. Was this an editorial show, or was he reporting news when he made the statement? The constant claim of "bias" is a bit ridiculous considering the vast majority of the "bias" are in editorial shows where they are paid to speak of their opinions... Even the business dudes are paid to speak their opinions during editorial shows...

So, I will excoriate him if he was "reporting" news and inserted his opinion, I will not if he was on an editorial show getting paid to give opinions.

McDowell is a woman. And she's a news anchor, not a commentator.

I hope this helps.

I await your excoriation.

Has nothing to do with Obama. Who even mentioned him?
I mentioned the campaign, not him personally. So, I did. Because it is anything said against that campaign that gains this honor.

If you think Fox NEWS is an unbiased news source, you are drinking koolaid. Period.
Right, just like if you think MSNBC isn't the Left's insane answer to Fox News you are drinking the same. However, the bias is in the editorial shows.

This is one of your most ridiculous posts ever, Damo.
Right, because I would speak against him if he isn't getting paid to give his opinion, that must mean I am the "crazy" one.

My guess is, this was during one of the quick give and takes they do while giving their stock picks and he was getting paid for his opinions at that time and deserves nothing but a quick "m'eh, the business dude paid to give his opinion gave his opinion during a show where he is supposed to give his opinion..."

If he happens to be doing it during a news reporting section and inserted that I would agree with you, but otherwise you are wasting air... If you spent equal energy posting all the nonsense from See BS News when they make stories up or from MSNBC when they do exactly the same thing I may think you actually cared about "bias" in the news. But your posts tell me that you simply dislike the nearly 24/7 editorials on Fox specifically, not general "bias"...

Your "bias" reporting needs less personal bias for you to be taken as credible on this. I personally don't give a rip when somebody on Fox paid for an opinion gives one, or somebody on MSNBC for that matter.

I'm glad you brought up MSNBC, because I routinely acknowledge their bias, and would feel like an idiot for not doing so. Just as anyone should feel like an idiot for trying to portray Fox as unbiased.

I'm embarassed for you.

Please point out the place where I didn't note that they editorialize in their editorial shows? Your quick knee jerk reaction of ad hom is noted. But really.

What I said: "Yeah, he's biased. He's paid to give his opinion much of the time."

What you said: "Why are you saying he's not biased? I clearly didn't read what you actually wrote but I will say you are insane and super stupid because you said he's not biased."

Slow down and read what I said. Seriously. You look like a d*ck right now.

I watch Fox- What I always see are liberals and conservatives on almost every segment. Their hard news shows are neither left or right...just a refreshingly factual presentation of the news. Fox has an admitted conservative bent in some of their opinion segments- but on those segments they always have liberal guests.

A bias is when only one aspect of a story or opinion is given in order to sway opinion, as if that is all there is to a story or subject. Bias is also in play if purposeful slants are infused into the story to make people think only one way.

More nonsense from the Faux News Kool-Aid drinkers.

Special Report with Brett Baier carries a distinct Right Wing bias...and he is supposedly "hard news".

What about Megan Kelly? Every story out of her mouth carries a Right Wing bias and she's supposed to be "straight news" also.

And let's not even mention the fact that almost every "liberal" who appears regularly on Faux to provide counterbalance (Alan Colmes) is either mealy mouthed and only on to provide the host someone to talk over and shout down, or an apologist for the Right.

The news programs on Fox are biased and they have blured the line between news and editoral.

Whaaaa, they do it too. Every agency does it, not to the extent Fox does.

Yet your only criticism is of this one news agency, which you think is worse than "all" of them, including MSNBC or even See BS where they literally report made up rubbish in an attempt at "gotcha" politics?

tsk, tsk...

Just a quick question: what's the title of the thread?

Just a quick question: what's the title of the thread?

Truth slips out on Fox News.....

Is it your contention that because the person who started the thread has tunnel vision, it isn't just "okay" to do so, but you should emulate and worship him too?

Or are you trying to make some other point than "hey he did it"...

I've asked three times now. Which show was this one, was he reporting or editorializing? I've even "guessed" that he was on a show where he was being paid for his opinion, and now I especially believe it because none of those who think he is teh eeevilll are willing to tell me the answer.

I have also stated that I think editorializing on editorial shows is just fine, including on MSNBC. However, you seem to think that nobody should ever express an opinion on either of those networks... Well, on one of them anyway. It's okay on one of them, for you.. not so much okay on the other.

You're going well beyond the realm of the discussion here.

I just find it amazing that on a thread that was started as a sort of boast that a Fox News ANCHOR called the VP of the U.S. a fairly negative derogatory term, the "lefty" posters are the ones who somehow have to take MSNBC to task for bias.

What?

Yours was the first post following the OP...

it was: "The truth about their extreme right-wing bias?"

Then several lefties jumped on that bandwagon. Then you are suddenly "amazed" that somebody talks about your opinion of the "bias"?

My posts were basically: Yeah, there are several places that are mostly editorial shows where you get opinions, this is one, MSNBC is another.

Yours: You guys are trying to say they do it too...

Um, no. I'm saying if you are going to call out "bias" on editorial shows, you should do it more evenly than this and I'm wondering why you are surprised to find opinion on editorial shows.

My personal "outrage" is reserved for people who literally "report" gotcha politics cow caca as actual news.
