‘Trumpty Dumpty’ Torched By Murdoch Media: ‘Perfect Record Of Election Defeat’

The New York Post hit the former president with a blistering front page. The Wall Street Journal declared him to be the GOP's "biggest loser."
The Rupert Murdoch-owned New York Post and Wall Street Journal ― both previous boosters of Donald Trump ― put the blame for the GOP’s less-than-stellar showing in the 2022 midterm elections squarely on the former president and his choice of candidates.
On its Thursday front page, the Post depicted Trump as the hapless nursery rhyme character Humpty Dumpty.

“Don (who couldn’t build a wall) had a great fall — can all the GOP’s men put the party back together again?” the city tabloid asked:
Analysis from Post columnist John Podhoretz declared the GOP’s “red trickle” in the elections was because of Trump’s “terrible candidates” who “dragged Republicans down.”
On Wednesday, the Post suggested Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) was “DeFUTURE” of the GOP with this front page. DeSantis, a possible 2024 GOP challenger to Trump, convincingly won reelection this week.
The Journal’s editorial board, meanwhile, on Wednesday dubbed Trump “the Republican Party’s biggest loser.”
“Trumpy Republican candidates failed at the ballot box in states that were clearly winnable,” the editorial said.
“Since his unlikely victory in 2016 against the widely disliked Hillary Clinton, Mr. Trump has a perfect record of electoral defeat.”

Ouch! I wonder if Donnie made it out of bed today, being called the „biggest loser“ by the media that „brought“ him. That’s got to hurt.

Here is a sampling of what Republicans said:

“Absolutely, there's no question” that Trump should be blamed for Republicans’ losses in Pennsylvania and close races across the country, said one senior Republican strategist who worked on Senate races and who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to share private discussions happening within the GOP.

The strategist blamed Trump’s “shenanigans about running for president” and holding a rally in Pennsylvania, which he lost in 2020, the weekend before Election Day as a reason for Mehmet Oz’s loss to Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman.

Republicans lost the governor’s race, the Senate race and all the competitive House races in Pennsylvania.

One senior House Republican aide said the Trump-backed candidate Bo Hines, who lost the race for an open swing seat in North Carolina on Tuesday, “was an awful candidate who was on his third district of the cycle and finally settled on one where he did not live. We have President Trump to thank for that one as well.”

twump has lost Murdock. Ruh roh!

If Trump did not back an ex-football player with obvious CTE problems, Georgia would be a win. Walker showed he would follow Trump around like a pull toy. That is all Trump requires. His first mafia-type question for any govt position is"will you be loyal to me". Hannity was an unappointed advisor. He and Trump talked every night. Hannity is much responsible for what Trump put America through.

I don't watch them either but I see video clips of them groveling at Trump's feet.

But since Murdock has flipped on Trump, we may not see much more groveling, thank God.

What do you think twump will do? He's not going to go quietly. A lot of his cult will do whatever he says. The GOP needs to join forces with J6, support the evidence, forward it, in a bi-partisan way to the DOJ so Garland won't be a pussy and finally get that fuck off the street.

We don't need to fuck nuts like MTG, Jordan and Gosar. There's enough normal Republicans left to exercise that demon.

It’s two years until the next election

The trump cult will be massaged over to DaSatan by fox

They will lose viewership for a time

But the idiots will come right back to the troff to gobble up the gruel before long

There is no winning with trump on their side

So he’s fucking gone

Matters little, Trump will declare, and as we know, primaries are won by fringes largely because they show up for primaries, so Trump will prevail and Murdoch, plus the entire GOP, will be back kissing his ass, Trump knows the reality
