Since Trump's fans insist that he never told a significant lie, it may be worth looking at a few of his (presumably) insignificant ones.

“Obamacare will be replaced with something terrific!” - usually due out in a few weeks. It never came.

“I was honored as the Man of the Year in Michigan at a big event.” He said this frequently, particularly when he was anywhere near Michigan but no one ever succeeded in identifying what he was talking about. There is no such award.

“I got a call from the head of the Boy Scouts saying it was the greatest speech that was ever made to them.” A senior Scouts source publicly denied it. Yep, Trump lied about the Boy Scouts. :rolleyes:

“We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China, and we have it under control.” Jan. 2020. Great! But what was it that he had under control?

I have truly never understood when people say he hasn't lied that much, or ask for an example. I've never seen anyone lie as much as Trump, or even close to it.
