Education would be just fine under state control but you know how our liberal friends are when it comes to control lol. Obamacare is an unmitigated disaster. There are problems with the healthcare system but they should have been dealt with incrementally and with as little federal involvement as possible.

Once you get the federal government involved in something there's no turning back.

I think the reason Onceler was caught off guard by Trump's comment and posted this is your rarely hear a conservative claim the federal government should be in charge of health care and education. We usually hear Republicans claim they want to eliminate the DOE and have states and local communities make decisions about schools. We rarely hear Republicans say we need more federal involvement in the health care industry and Obamacare didn't go far enough.

So for the leading Republican Presidential nominee to claim the federal government should have a role in health care and education is quite the policy position switch.

He doesn't have conservative supporters. He has populist supporters, which is why his following is so ignorant and stupid. Conservative supporters would be questioning his beliefs about the role of government, government programs, policy, spending, etc. They would also demand a more disciplined demeanor, let alone some decency and character. Trump's supporters don't really believe in anything except the personality cult they are presented with.
