It didn't occur to you that condos might be different in the most expensive market in the country?

You even called me a fool after I said my property nearly doubled over ten years.

Someone who says buying a home that almost doubles in ten years is a fool is either a poor or maybe one of the better equity investors in the world. (i'm somewhat generalizing here but when the discussion has come up about home ownership and returns you are the only one to have called me a fool; and i'm talking real world not this board)

Every house I have bought has doubled every 10 years. Fool
Actually I sold my first house for tripple after less than ten years.
Only buy during the bottom of recession only sell at the height of a boom.

Sebastian Gorka drew up plans to cut Libya into three parts on a fucking napkin

During a meeting with a senior European diplomat, Gorka, who is vying for the position of presidential special envoy to Libya, once drew a plan to split up the country into three parts on a napkin.

He was immediately told by the diplomat that it was the “the worst solution” for Libya.

Gorka apparently based his plan to cut Libya into three sections in accordance with the old Ottoman provinces of Tripolitania, Cyrenaica, and Fezzan (as they existed before Libya gained its independence in 1952). In other words, he read the “History” section for Libya in a World Book Encyclopedia and thought himself qualified to speak authoritatively on the topic with a diplomat who has probably been paying attention to what’s been going on in the country in the 70 or so years since it was founded.

“This is like a litmus test of how much you know about Libya,” Mattia Toaldo, a Libya expert at the European Council on Foreign Relations, told the Guardian. “If you the only thing you know is that it was cut into three, then it shows you are clueless about the situation in Libya.”
