Trump's RNC takeover "will set the party up for another string of defeats"

Is your next recommendation to start rounding them up for "reeducation camps"?

I don't want to have anything to do with them, why would I want to encamp them where I have to watch over them?

I already told you, they are too stupid to change.

I don't know about the poll numbers you used above, but maybe you have a different perception than the nation's voters. I have noticed JPP posters overly optimistic about their side's chances. Remember the "red wave" in 2022?

I remember telling Conservatives in January and February of 2022 that there's a good chance Democrats retain the House and Truth Detector or one of those bozos said that the GOP was going to win 50 seats.

Not at all. Public polling does not do that. That is not its purpose. That is not why they are commissioned.

Not those meant for public consumption versus those done for campaign teams. But, they basically use the same methods. Hillary's team found her weak in those areas of swing states she lost. They advised more campaigning in those areas but others disagreed.

Where did we learn polls use AI to complete unfinished numbers?

Take a Midol, dear. You're cranky.

We can pick this up again next week when you're feeling better.

I'll take your post here as a concession that you have no fucking idea what you're talking about so you try to talk down to someone who just bested you in a debate.

But, they basically use the same methods. ?

No they do not.

Internal polling is completely different than public polling. Internal polling relies on a dependable list of reliable respondents, not called at random...they have way more detailed information about who they're polling through the various datamining the campaigns do.

That's what Paul Manafort was sharing with Konstantin Kilimnik to give to Oleg Deripaska in 2016...the actual collusion that occurred.

Sorry the truth hurts you so much you have to resort to name-calling. Yes, scumbag politicians spin polls. That's why so many poorly educated morons don't trust them.

I don't think Trump's influence comes from polls because I doubt that many MAGA (or other Americans) read them. They get their news from social media, TV, talk radio.

The J6 rioters didn't read a poll and say "let's attack the Capitol." They listened to Trump and his supporters.

And you were both wrong. Of course, those elections were so close that polls can only come within the margin of error and not the exact number of seats.

Agreed for the most part. Trump's campaign group, no doubt, uses polls, but I doubt Trump or the MAGAts read them, understand them or trust them.

It always appeared his campaign strategy just came from his intuition, bravado, and reaction of the crowd. But, he apparently has a very sophisticated campaign team. I'm not sure if he follows their advice because I can't imagine them telling him to say some of the things he does. But, his methods win him a lot of votes. He makes people think he hates the same people they do.

Excellent point and agreed. Trump always sees himself as the smartest man in the room.

Notice the type of people who vote for him. It's a sad commentary on Americans.

Former RNC chairman, Micheal Steele, is warning that Trump's takeover of the RNC will set the party up for defeat.

I honestly can't be sure if that's true or not,
but I certainly hope that Steele has it right.

Our Democratic Party is a center-right party in almost any other nation in the world.
We don't need a party to the right of them.
We need a viable party to the left of them.
