I compared these two because Trump is saying these folks are terrorists, and using the same authority. Whether I agree or not isn't spoken of here. Though there is another thread where the right wingers are upset at me because I think this is a law enforcement thing and not a military thing...

Every prediction dead wrong (unless, of course, you were listening to the Trump economists (you know, the ones who've actually participated in the real economy instead of just cosplaying as experts on cable news).

The tariffs exist to stop other countries from screwing us like they've been doing for decades. Trump has pried open more markets that were completely closed to American businesses than anyone thought possible and has already forced multiple countries to slash their own ridiculous tariffs on our goods. The five or six grocery items you keep whining about that got temporary adjustments? That's called a course correction. I realize that's a complicated concept for someone whose brain only runs on slogans, but course corrections are a necessary and healthy part of any largescale realignment. If you're not making them, you're either negligent or incompetent.

I'll pause here for now, I often lose many on the left that only speak in talking points and slogans when there are a few paragraphs to read.


I know you libtards just want to scream 'tariffs bad' no matter the context, how they're used, or the actual results. But please, for once, try harder.
