I wouldn't say that Bondi was "absolutely horrible" by any means (she actually was quite decent at the part of her job that mattered most), but from the very beginning, she wasn't my preferred choice either. She did much better than any AG from Trump's first term, THAT'S for sure (but that's not saying much).

The RINOs in the Senate won't allow any of my preferred choices to become AG (such as Ken Paxton or Harriet Hageman). It'll, once again, be someone sub-optimal because the candidate needs to be able to pass Senate confirmation, but that's just the way it is.

It's not the AG's job to serve the president. They're supposed to serve the Constitution and prosecute real criminals. Instead, the DOJ ignores trump's crimes and goes after his political enemies with bullshit charges.

I see why you like that kind of shit - it's just not very patriotic.

Pirro would have been the one if she did not have all the recent public failures in her prosecution.
