I'm laughing at you now. Really, really hard. Yes, I feel safe with truckers on the road where English isn't their first language - you know why? Because truckers not only have to have a valid drivers' license to get a trucking job where you actually have to pass a test, which includes rules of the road to drive - then, to get a truckers' license you have to pass even more stringent tests.
Here's some real-world info, tiger. Companies are all-about incident-avoidance. In my company vehicle I have a dash-cam that records all my driving habits and holds me accountable if I have an "event", such as having to stop short for a pedestrian. All trucking companies, where their truck is owned, have that as well.
Independant truckers have dash-cams, as well for their own protection. If someone claims an accident is your fault and you have evidence to the contrary, it's golden.
You're welcome!
