M. Evan Corcoran, a lawyer who accompanied former President Donald J. Trump to court this week for his arraignment on charges of trying to overturn the 2020 election, has given crucial evidence in Mr. Trump’s other federal case — the one accusing him of illegally hoarding classified documents.

Another lawyer close to Mr. Trump, Boris Epshteyn, sat for an interview with prosecutors this spring and could be one of the former president’s co-conspirators in the election tampering case.

Not sure why they didn't list the co conspirators.

Apparently it's not required by law.

Not sure what's going on here exactly since I'm not a lawyer, I just play one on JPP.

DOJ wants a quick conviction of Trump.

What they want and what they are going to get are too different things.

When you charge a person with this many federal offenses they are guaranteed time to prepare for them, you can't rush it.

This is another problem with Smith's case, he filed too much stuff.

The may date set for the Washington case will more than likely be pushed back and this doesn't include extensions asked for by the defense.

Nothing will be resolved before the election and even then you are looking at appeals taking them all the way up to the Supreme Court.

We are talking years of litigation here.

Also, Trump is facing three different trials, soon to be four, so no judge is going to deny him time to prepare for them.

If they did that would be overturned so quickly on appeal that if you blink you would miss it.

The co conspirators have not been indicted- YET! Look for a whole slew of additional indictments against Trumps people.
