No but my brother and sister in law are both high level engineers with over 40 years each of experience in the power industry and I have discussed solar and wind energy with them quite a bit. My sister in law did her master's thesis on Wind and Solar in fact.

Anecdotal, and hardly convincing.

There was a big breakthrough with solar just this summer. All that's needed is time for both wind & solar to be viable.

We all get our education in different ways. I had two master level t private tutors with tons of experience in the field. What was your education in the field? Yes given infinite time we may solve the energy storage problem MAYBE. But we are not there YET and there is no guarantee we will ever get there. For that reason its extremely important to keep developing nuclear energy. One day we may solve the range and quick charge problems for cars then we need to build the charging stations and then we need to be able to generate enough on the grid to charge everyone's EV. That won't happen in my lifetime and maybe not yours.

1. Almost all politicians are narcissists to a degree. Some call it self-confidence. One of the exceptions to this general rule is pResident tater head, who is no longer self aware enough to determine his own psychological state. This is okay though, as he is not really “president”. He’s just a meat puppet with some nefarious bastard’s hand up his ass moving his mouth.

2. I’d rather work for a competent narcissistic asshole than an incompetent idiot that everybody loves. Only thing I can imagine that would be worse is working for an INcompetent narcissist who is also an asshole.

The 2nd point is pretty irrelevant. Those aren't the only 2 choices - and they certainly don't need to be the only 2 choices.

We need to set the bar higher - higher than Biden, and way higher than Trump. Way higher.

Technology advancements can be exponential.

In the '70s, no one thought computers would have any kind of personal use. And certainly no one thought they could ever be handheld.

We're not advanced enough to handle the implications of nuclear.
