Trump's foreign policy speech

Joseph Schmidt, one of Trumps advisors, is the same guy who didn't want to sell a dam in Montana to the local Native American tribe because he thought they would conspire with Turkey to nuke the dam.

This just keeps getting better!

You say that like it's a good thing, lol.

They don't seem to care for your idol as much as a good Trumptard like you does. Maybe they actually listed to the crap he said.

I just finished reading it and wondered why he posted it. It wasn't very positive for Trump. lol

I'm sure Nurse Focker will explain how that's an elite/lamestream media lie, or is really a good thing, lol.

I wanted to show you what an unbiased analysis of it looked like lol. The blogger finished by saying he could see why some libertarians could find the speech appealing.

There are many unbiased opinions of Trump's speech, you just don't care what they others have to say.

Ugh..I am watching Trump on O'Reilly. He's incoherent about "taking the oil fields" in Libya..he won't say how he's gonna
do so and apparently thinks ISIS controls ALL Libyan oil ( it doesn't).
O'Reilly is pushing him, and he is sorta agreeing o western boots ( which may be what will happen)

Further most oilfields are not pumping much do to neglect ( maintainence) and security.
Further you just can't take oil from Libya's NOC - the fields are nationalized ..and now he's talking about Exxon.

I don't think he has a clue.

You are a brave man, I can't watch O'Reilly, and I think we will see more of the same as Trump is pinned down on his answers

Well, I read the speech for third time with an eye for gross incoherencies and didn't see any. You could probably go through it with a fine toothed comb and pick something out but you can do that with virtually any policy speech by any candidate.

We'll agree to disagree on the stuff Trump has said in the past. I won't argue for a minute that he bloviates, engages in bluster and hyperbole etc, when speaking off the cuff. But that's Trump. This is a policy speech we're talking about: it's his first formal proclamation of what he would do [and not do] as president Trump, and I see no glaring problem with it.

In fact, it was better than expected in my opinion.

I spead the snippet you posted -thanks. it looks like he's talking about so called Soft Power ( spreading western values,
but not human rights and not wars.
That's fine. China does much the same but they do it from a mercantile position (except their direct sphere where they practice hegemony)

At least he's thinking, and not regurgitating pre-fed lines..My biggest criticism is he need to study.

As crappy as Hillary is in her performance, is how well she is versed. She's a screw up,but a knowledgable screw up.
Trump seems more circumspect, but he desperately needs a learning curve to climb..

He can get that thru advisors ,but he seriously also need to learn the players better.
