Just more of the big con. During the campaign, everything was going to be "so easy." The leadership he was going to display was going to be unprecedented; he'd be so Presidential that it would make our "heads spin."
Let's set aside that healthcare was much more complicated than he thought, or that he wanted to change "archaic" congressional rules because he couldn't get what he wanted immediately. This Presidency is amateur hour on a lot of levels that should alarm everyone.
But something SO BASIC as being able to orchestrate consistent messaging among your own spokespeople? My god. He actually whined publicly this week that his surrogates couldn't represent him with "perfect accuracy," after throwing all of them under the bus by contradicting the story they had all presented about Comey with his own version in an interview. And now he's talking about getting rid of press briefings altogether.
Because he really can't handle it? Something that simple? Has any Presidency ever had this kind of issue with basic messaging?
What a complete embarrassment. A real estate guy, in completely over his head.
