Trump’s Dire Words Raise New Fears About His Authoritarianism

What's worse is that if Trump wins, and trashes our Constitution - his supporters won't even say they were wrong. They'll just say, this is better anyway. Trump makes better decisions than Congress & he's doing what we want.

It is absolutely true that the best way to destroy a society is from within. Leftists have spend decades fostering dissent and disagreement between Americans. The evidence for that claim is that anyone who disagrees with leftists is labeled a homophobe, transphobe, sexist, racist, bigot, fascist and the list goes on and on and on and on. On top of that a leftist candidate called half the population deplorable. If this country is fucked it's thanks to the forces within, leftists, who hate America and Americans.

Indeed!

Anything is better than what the leftists have already done to this country. They want America to be a shithole. They want every town and city in America to be san fransicko.

If safe streets, borders under control and low inflation and no wars are are authoritarian, I'll take Trump any day.

It's as obvious as anything. He's not mincing his words.

It's all happening in broad daylight. Future historians will marvel at how we somehow missed it.

Well at least you'll be able to tell your grandkids you pissed all over the Constitution to try and stop someone who you thought was trying to piss all over the Constitution right?

But now, in his third presidential bid, some of his most vicious and debasing attacks have been leveled at domestic opponents.

During a Veterans Day speech, Mr. Trump used language that echoed authoritarian leaders who rose to power in Germany and Italy in the 1930s, degrading his political adversaries as “vermin” who needed to be “rooted out.”

“The threat from outside forces,” Mr. Trump said, “is far less sinister, dangerous and grave than the threat from within.”

The Democrats hate anyone who would dare call them out, or their plans for a radical Leftist totalitarian state. The verbiage they use may vary but the intent is what they tar their enemies with. Tell me, how many Democrats buy into "White Privilege?"

I just did. What the Democrats, and Left, are doing is a combination of common propaganda techniques that combine,

Demonizing their enemy

Gaslighting

and, in the case you bring up using Reductio ad Hitlerum. You are just either too stupid or too willing to not recognize it.

What the Left is doing in this case is building an Association fallacy (eg., Guilt by association) using Nit picking or trivial objections. The Left has seized upon a single word Trump used, or two disassociated words he used, then focusing on those has declared that he is no different from Hitler (Reductio ad Hitlerum fallacy) because he used those two words. It is utterly asinine and stupid. Anyone who accepts that has to be either in so deep hating Trump they can't see the propaganda for what it is in this case, or they're just mindless minions of ignorance going along with what they're told.

Either way, the OP can be dismissed as nothing but propaganda. Of course, I expect nothing more from the Left as they generally don't have the intellectual capacity to do better.

I see, you no like lib.

Mr. Trump’s attacks sweep from the highest echelons of politics to low-level bureaucrats whom he has deemed insufficiently loyal.

He has insinuated that the nation’s top military general should be executed and called for the “termination” of parts of the Constitution. If he wins back the White House, he has said, he would have “no choice” but to imprison political opponents.

He has tested the legal system with broadsides against the integrity of the judiciary, railing against prosecutors, judges and, more recently, a law clerk in his New York fraud trial as “politically biased” and “out of control.”
