The Department of Homeland Security launched a failed operation that ensnared hundreds, if not thousands, of U.S. protesters in what new documents show was as a sweeping, power-hungry effort before the 2020 election to bolster President Donald Trump’s spurious claims about a “terrorist organization” he accused his Democratic rivals of supporting.

An internal investigative report, made public this month by Sen. Ron Wyden, a Democrat of Oregon, details the findings of DHS lawyers concerning a previously undisclosed effort by Trump’s acting secretary of homeland security, Chad Wolf, to amass secret dossiers on Americans in Portland attending anti-racism protests in summer 2020 sparked by the police murder of Minneapolis father George Floyd.

Throughout trump's tenure as candidate, and the worst POTUS in the nation's history, he consistently employed projection to keep the focus off of his own crimes.

Yes. That's linked in my OP.

Wading through 88 pages of 'self policing' by the trump administration is tough. What stands out is an attempt to make it look like incompetence, without any mention of the orders coming from trump's lobbyist/'acting' DHS head.

Thus far I haven't seen any mention of malicious activity, but that would be expected from the trump administration.

I do remember complaints from at least one of the protests where law enforcement was wearing no type of identification. Nobody knew who these people were. Perhaps those were trump's covert DHS people?


Further, it seems this 'review' was done solely because there were leaks of unclassified information re. this witch hunt.

trump is scheduled to announce his run for POTUS right after the mid terms.

He's doing this in order to challenge each of the issues you mention above, hoping that a rogue Supreme Court will demand that everyone cease and decist during an election.
