Oil is traded by super-rich people in the Commodity markets, mostly in London. They have no incentive to lower prices. A president can use the bully pulpit to chastise the oil companies for gouging. Presidents have done that in the past.

According to the article below, he was speaking about his wife then abruptly switched to "Mercedes Schlapp, his former White House director of strategic communications." His cognitive decline is noticeable in his rallies. He doesn't have the same "pep" as he used to have. Is the Adderall no longer working or did he have to stop taking it for health reasons??
