Trump's descent into dementia

Well, after Trump's 2nd successful term as president, there is no doubt, or should be no doubt that he will be carved into Mt. Rushmore along with the other non democrat
successful presidents. And since Trump is one of 4 of America's greatest presidents, besides Lincoln, Reagan, and Washington, we will all be honoring him. Just curious, is
there a place somewhere in America that honors our worst presidents? Like someone's home basement where the worst like biden reside.

trump's name will live in political infamy in the country. He'll have to be content with his name on a few buildings and golf courses only.

Ha! An analogy only a well educated person would make!
For all their talk about being the great defenders of western culture, most MAGAs won't get it and are going to have frantically google to grasp the analogy.

I gave up on Ulysses after a few pages. There are too many other good books out there to waste time on Ulysses just for bragging rights.

And Biden will have to be content with his name on a few public shit-houses (if he's lucky:) )

Yeah, you need to have at least an average IQ to appreciate James Joyce, CHRISTYFANNY ! The only "stream of consciousness" you could probably relate to is that which takes place when you are peeing into a lavatory !! HAR !! HAR !! HAR !! :):)

Agreed on infamy....and that may be all he gets. While I doubt Pedo Don will ever go to prison, I have little doubt that TrumpCo will implode from loss of business and debt. Those buildings and golf courses will be sold off to other billionaires or investment groups and renamed.

If that happens, I think Pedo Don would implode himself shortly thereafter. He's insecure enough as it is. If his money is taken away, he could die with TrumpCo because he'd be nothing. A loser. His death would be natural causes, but it's really just him giving up.... because he's the wimpiest, most thin-skinned piece of traitorous shit to ever sit in the White House.

CNN Doctor Trolls Trump Over 'Dementia' Boast With 1 Simple Sentence

Dr. Jonathan Reiner isn’t buying Donald Trump’s repeated claims about acing a cognitive test.

The former president has insisted that the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) ― aka the infamous “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.” test he took in 2020, when he was president ― was “difficult.”

Reiner stepped in with a fact-check on Sunday.

“If you think a dementia screening test is very difficult, you may have early dementia,” Reiner, who is director of cardiac catheterization laboratories at George Washington University, wrote on X:

Trump has repeatedly insisted that the test is very hard, and earlier this month claimed it contains advanced math such as “multiply 3,293 times 4, divide by 3.”

It does not, as can be seen on a sample test here.

The test was created to help doctors detect the warning signs of the cognitive impairments that can lead to dementia.

“It is supposed to be easy for someone who has no cognitive impairment,” Dr. Ziad Nasreddine, who developed the test, told MarketWatch in 2020.

Yet Trump has constantly claimed otherwise.

Biden's not walking the earth bloviating about how he belongs on a national monument, or anywhere for that matter, so your insult falls flat.

Donald Trump’s brain glitches are getting worse
It is going to be interesting to see how Donald Trump’s followers react as his psychological and intellectual decompensation proceeds under the enormous pressure of a presidential campaign and a series of criminal trials.

Pedo Don will never listen to reason no matter how bad he gets. I'm looking forward to a world-class melt down onstage at some point.

He could just turn into a pile of fatty gurgling goo or he might pull a pistol and start shooting some protestor in the audience. Who knows? Oddly, I think he'd like to be immortalized in American history books even if it's to end up a convicted murderer at a highly secure mental hospital. Even so, I think he'll be essentially broke in a few short years.

The buildings are removing the Trump name. The golf courses are losing money. They are great for money laundering though. Can the crooks keep Donald afloat?

His supporters really can't be listening to his speeches. Do they actually want a despot to rule in the US? If trump wins the election and becomes the authoritarian of his dreams, he better think how this will play out when the election cycle returns dems to power.

Russian oligarchs will find better ways to launder their money once Trump is out the door and no way to come back. He'll be radioactive...and might even be unable to handle business. Junior and Eric will try but they'll fail because they are morons. Ivanka is keeping her skirt clean of the whole mess and, smartly, branched off into her own businesses and loves her family.

Historians might compare the collapse of TrumpCo to how the Clinton Foundation saw a 92% drop in donations by the end of 2018. Once out of power, they are found to be valueless.

^ Exactly. Another tongue-in-cheek? comment I read was that you don't need to take the test more than once unless there's been some noticeable change. trump should stop talking about it because it sounds like he needs to take it again. :D

The vast majority of those in attendance or avidly watching are paying attention, but those rallies seem to be getting a lot smaller. I suspect his viewing audience is too. The Waterloo speech being a memorable example.

Besides the mental health issues among a large swath of Americans, there's lack of education problem too. Judging by results, I think there's a severe lack of critical thinking skills among most Americans. Given they are rational and of average IQ, of course.

IMO, most MAGAts are neither. They are deficient in one or the other, maybe both. The best solutions seem to be better mental health care and figuring out how to prevent unscrupulous, evil people from taking advantage of stupid and/or poorly educated people.

Did Hillary help fund the 2016 Trump campaign? yes or no

The response, dupe, was regarding the most corrupt politician of our time.

The irony is so thick, it’s laughable. But, a delusional dupe would not realize that.

:)
That book's reputation alone has dissuaded me from reading it

James Joyce? The epitome of the Irish writer/poet? You two are ahead of me; I never even tried. In fact, I'm not even sure I ever saw the movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062414/
Joyce is the model for every famous Irish writer or poet shown in movies, but I doubt I've read anything by him.

As a kid, I did see, however, the Kirk Douglas movie "Ulysses" based upon Homer's Odyssey. That was pretty cool. :D

Joyce is supposed to be in that pantheon of great writers, but hardly anyone ever finishes his books.

Virginia Wolff, a great 20th century English author, is reputed to have said Joyce is unreadable.

Jason and the Argonauts was my favorite classical Greek-inspired movie!

THe very design of the test is that EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO IS NOT SUFFERING, no matter how smart or stupid is meant to pass it. It is designed to ONLY trip up people with dementia.

It is telling that someone in Trump's inner circle CONVINCED him he should take the test.
