Trump's bullyball reveals how much GOP has changed

Trump rolled out his greatest hits yesterday. I've heard his schtick so much, I feel like I could have written most of those responses.

That part wasn't surprising. The reaction of the Republican audience, and from conservatives nationally, is. They loved it. Absolutely ate it up w/ a spoon.

I get it. They want someone "combative." It's a party & group of people who now have a huge list of grievances, and Trump - as he has stated - is their "retribution."

But his act is so mean-spirited, and so what I would not want this country to aspire toward. He rolls out the same insults, the same misogyny, the same bullying "talk over the moderator" thing - while repeating easily verifiable lies.

I do think there will be some denial about it 15-20 years down the line. Just like there is w/ Bush now - conservatives adored that guy. A popular bumper sticker at that time was "I love God, Country & GW Bush." Now, many - especially Trump supporters - basically ridicule him, and call him a RINO.

It's Trump's party now. And to use one of his favorite adjectives - it's a nasty one.

I know what you mean. It reminds me of how you leftists ass raped the democratic party.

Here's how things looked 20 years ago. Let's try and imagine a democrat today doing something similar. The only thing lef to it's want stifled now is anything that opposes their narrative.
