If I'm reading this right, MAYBE the VIRUS didn't come from CHINA? CHINA is not exonerated AND we could have gotten it from MULTIPLE countries. We have numerous airports and 3 MAJORS in NY/Jersey.

I put up an article about 5 days ago from a scientific BIO-TECH journal in Boston. 2 or 3 scientists were SINGING THE PRAISES of just how FAST China genomed COVID--the entire thing done in 1 month from the material they got in WUHAN. They were stunned, amazed, "It was insane" they could do it that fast!

THEN CHINA OPENED SOURCED ALL THE DATA on the NET FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD TO SEE. The US started running articles on it about a week later. I believe the early JAN!

TRUMP and his scumbag supporters and even CONGRESS laid it all on the Chinese all along. We do NOT know yet. I'll bet he knows less! There is a whole angle from FLA. A 29 year old woman, first known case, I think early MAR, had been to SEVERAL cities in Europe. I heard it in passing 'on the TV' don't know those details except they are TRACKING ALL HER STOPS and DATES.

Remember ALL THOSE INTEL reports he and this board salivated over?--I'm paraphrasing here... 'Hell YES China's numbers were off, very likely off--because the CHINESE had no idea what the hell they had for the first 2, 3, 4 weeks.'

I KNOW this is way over the heads of the TRUMP-CULT on this board, but we don't know yet! TRUMP KNOWS LESS. Could be all of the cases came from CHINA, some or NONE!

So today he rages in one his 'hit and run interviews' on the lawn about the genome #s. Did TRUMP JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS? Or is something big about about blow up and he is running for cover and laying the ground for MISINFORMATION? Stay tuned.

President Donald Trump lashed out at The New York Times on Saturday.

“So now the Fake News The New York Times is tracing the CoronaVirus origins back to Europe, NOT China. This is a first! I wonder where (sic) the Failing New York Times got for this one? Are there any NAMED sources?” Trump wondered.

However, the reporting from The Times was not based on anonymous sources.

“New research indicates that the coronavirus began to circulate in the New York area by mid-February, weeks before the first confirmed case, and that travelers brought in the virus mainly from Europe, not Asia,” The Times reported on Wednesday.

The story cited now research by geneticists at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the N.Y.U. Grossman School of Medicine.

“Both teams analyzed genomes from coronaviruses taken from New Yorkers starting in mid-March,” the newspaper noted. “The research revealed a previously hidden spread of the virus that might have been detected if aggressive testing programs had been put in place.”

The people in Florida who are known to be infected with the new coronavirus visited at least 46 states and traveled to every continent except Antarctica in the weeks before they tested positive for COVID-19, a USA TODAY Network-Florida analysis of state infection data found.

Travel-related cases dominated the test results in early March when the virus was first identified in Florida. They have become a smaller share of the total number of cases as the virus spreads through communities.

Florida's first case was counted on March 2. In the first 10 days of the outbreak in the state, more than 80% of cases — or 23 of 28 — were travel related.
Travel-related cases continued to outnumber non-travel cases through March 19.

But as the virus took hold around the state, non-travel cases and cases where travel history is still under investigation began growing faster. From March 20 through April 1, only 17% of Florida's COVID-19 cases involved known travel, according to the analysis.

The USA TODAY Network-Florida analyzed the Florida Department of Health's travel data from March 2 through the morning of April 2.

In other words, more than 10 years ago the Wuhan biolab was already creating entirely new and deadly viruses by inserting that part of the dangerous SARS virus that allows it to infect people into a second bat coronavirus, which was then able to attack human cells just like the Wuhan Flu virus does.
Then there is a 2013 article in Nature by some of the same WIV researchers entitled, “Isolation and characterization of a bat SARS-like coronavirus that uses the ACE2 receptor.”

They conclude that

“Chinese horseshoe bats are natural reservoirs of SARS-CoV, and that intermediate hosts may not be necessary for direct human infection by some bat SARS-like coronaviruses.”
